The first mission
The morning after his squads test, Jiraiya went to see the 3rd Hokage to find out what his squads first mission would be...
Sarutobi: Its great to see you today Jiraiya
Jiraiya: Its great to see you too, you never told me my squad would be so talented.
Sarutobi: hehe, you never asked
I take it you had a bit of trouble with them?Jiraiya: Im not known as one of the Sannin for no reason
I just took it a little too easy on them.Sarutobi: Im sure you did, anyway you didnt come here to lissen to me blabber on, youve come for your first assignment.
Jiraiya: I guess i did, what a drag.
Sarutobi: Im sure they will grow on you, remember what i tought you about the village and its people?
Jiraiya: Yeh yeh, i dont forget a lecture like that that easily, so whats our first mission?
Sarutobi looks through files on his desk until eventualy finding a blue folder and pulling it out of the pile, Jiraiya looks on anxiously.
Sarutobi: Your first mission is in the land of grass, there have been reports of bands of low rank ninjas attacking supply caravans from farmers to the main village, your job is to protect the caravans and collect information while you at it.
Jiraiya: I was expecting something a little harder but seeing as its our first missiong i cant complain.
Sarutobi: I wouldnt take this mission so lightly if i was you, its a B-rank mission!
Jiraiya: From what ive seen i wont need to worry, i have some highly skilled gennin in my squad, never mind the awsome JIRAIYA!!!!! (he says posing)
Sarutobi: So ive heard, but a over confidence is a weakness in a shanobi, you should never underestimate your enermy!
Jiraiya: Dont worry sensai, Ill bring my team back in one peice with good news, you can count on me
Sarutobi: Very well then, gather what you need and you are to leave with your students as soon as your ready..... And Jiraiya, please be careful
Then Jiraiya left the hokages office and headed to his home to collect his scroll and weapons and collect supplies for a mission, after about half an hour he left to head towards the training grounds to meet his squad. On his way however, he ran into tsunade....
Jiraiya: Hey Tsunade, hey!!!!
Tsunade: Oh hey Jiraiya, whats up? I heard you finally got assigned as a squad leader with some little brats?
Jiraiya: Yeh i have, but i wouldnt call them brats, there rather talented for gennin. Im just heading out to meet them now on our first mission
Tsunade: Ha, Im sure there great hehe and oh your first mission, what is it another delivery like we had when we became a squad?
Jiraiya: Ahhh the good times, im afraid we have a real mission, a band of renegade ninja are attack supply caravans in the land of grass and its up to us to stop them
(thinking) shes bound to be impressed now Tsunade: That sucks, having to travel all the way to the land of grass for such a lame mission!
Jiraiya: Its a dangerous A-rank mission and i may not come back alive! Maybe you should give me a kiss now before i leave just in case i dont come back
***SMACK***
Tsunade hits Jiraiya flying into a fence!
Tsunade: Nice try nucklehead! And if you dont come back from such a simple mission then you dont deserve a kiss from a princess like me!
Jiraiya: (thinking) Hmmm so i can impress her by doing awsome on this mission! Bingo!
Tsunade: Later loser (she says walking away waving) Try not to get yourself killed!
Jiraiya: Wow she cares about me
Well i guess i best get over to the training grounds!Jiraiya then headed to the training grounds and when he got there he found Minato, Shin and Shina sitting under a tree waiting for him and as soon as they saw him they jumped onto their feet ready.
Jiraiya: Hey!
Shin: hello sensai!
Shina: Good morning sir
Minato: Its about time you turned up! hehe
Jiraiya: Watch you mouth kid, if you were this awsome then you would know its ok to be late some times, i was busy with an old friend!
Minato: That bruise on your face says she wasnt interested?
Jiraiya: What the hell are you talking about? How did you know it was a girl?
Minato: I didnt, i guessed but you just showed i was right
heheJiraiya: Your too smart for your own good, anyway its time to get going, we are heading to the land of grass to guard supply caravans from renegade ninjas
Minato: Woop a real mission!
Jiraiya: Are you all ready?
Shin: Yes!
Shina: yeh!
Minato: yessss!
Jiraiya: Ok, lets get going!
The headed out towards the gate with smiles on there faces ready to face there first mission!
