Jiraiya could summon them so he had to sign as well. If Orochimaru or whomever else gets his/her hands on the contract, they could summon Jiraiya at any time!!!!

the ONLY possible way that the sannin could come back would be if tsunade and orochimaru were killed and edo'd to fight team 7.

This would symbolize team 7 ( new gen ) taking over and overcoming the old gen. That's the only possible outcome of jiraiya being revived that I can tell. unless Kishi pulls something out of the air and says jiraiya had some top secret jutsu or info.

You know... Orochimaru joined the war with his decision to follow Sasuke, even when he said he didn't have any interest.

That's why I believe he still has some chances to do something as annoying as reviving more people.

The correct question is not whether it's possible or not but rather should it be done or not. Edo tensei is an overused jutsu in the series that has brought all the cool characters back. Not that I don't like the retrun of Hokages, I really do, but the return of Jirayia and Tsunade through edo tensei would be over-the-top. Let's give some meaning in the word death, shall we? If even those 2 are about to come back as edo then let's summon as well the sage to defeat the juubi already.

Jariya would not be revived because in order to use his most powerful jutsu he needs Ma & Pa Frog and I don't think the will be up for helping an edo.

At this point it is clear all will be revived. If Tsunade dies, will be revived as well before it is over. No doubt. On the other hand, this manga has a way of going the way most people won't guess. For instance, a lot think that Naruto will be Hokage. I think he will be something more than that. Or his death will mark the beginning of peace and he will take all the hate with him.

Why is all of a sudden these Jiraiya being turned Edo coming up? Besides I don't think the dna sample from the contract would even be enough and possible be to degraded to revive him..One thing the contract is binding even after death unless the contract is destroyed. Jiraiya is dead at the bottom of the ocean..it's already been stated by Kabuto that the pressure of the water wouldn't allow him to reach his body and besides if possible the salt water would already ruin any dna

Orochimaru had an entire childhood with Jirayia, plus they fought a war together. The chances of getting enough DNA is... high.

Watch the manga. There are a lot of Jirayia's raccontos, even in Pain's arc. Did you know Hanzou named Tsunade, Orochimaru and Jirayia "The Sannin"? It was the third shinobi war. Jirayia was wounded when they were named Sannin.

I'm not telling Orochimaru getting his DNA is a fact, I'm telling that he got the chances.

PS: Try again acting cocky as a proof guy. You still need more training, kid.
