Actualky Shima confirmed she could sense Pein's presence when she was with Naruto. They probably just didn't have their sensory ability activated.

Actually the other three had no charka in them so the toad sages couldn't sense it

That was the Kyuubi chakra in Gin and Kin or w/e in Sage Mode when he was trying to escape he sensed the full scale of the war and even was able to sense all his friends in the war.

Simple they didn't know about the path that brought paths back so they lowered there guard because they thought they one

Except for the part where she said she did sense Pein's presence. Remember, they thought Pein was dead. They most likely let down their guard and had their chakra sensing ability turned off.

Yea. It was Km not Sage mode.

To I speak the Truth: your theory does make sense. But I don't think sage mode allows for sensory techs. Mind you when Naruto went sage mode he could sense all Konoha ninja. But he had assistance from Katsuya. She was attached to all Konoha nin and that's how he sensed Kakashis death.

Sage mode grants limited precognition which lets him know what his opponent is going to do. Ex. 3rd raikage vs Sage Naruto and naruto destroying Asura path.

i think the reason why jiraiya and the frogs, couldn't sense them was because they were dead.and therefore the chakra receivers where used.and why naruto had to stab himself to receive the chakra signal.

Whether the Path's can be sensed or not is debatable. But Nagato cannot be sensed for sure. Shima felt the Paths in Konoha, but she didn't sense them before Jiraiya got his arm blown off. I don't know what to make of that. Neither does anyone else.

Its pretty simple actually since they had just killed the paths and did not know there were six and that one could revive the others they let their guard down because they thought they had won.
