Jiraiya can beat healthy Itachi

Why can't he? I beleive he is experienced in fighting than Itachi, and won against 3 paths while finding out their abilities. He can summon a giant toad to take care of Susano. About genjutsu, ma and pa uses sound gentutsus which Shikamaru told is the most dangerous type (during the battle with he and Tayuya).. So? Am I wrong? If wrong, don't correct. lol experience means nonthing in this fight cuz they both r ready 4 anything...a toad vs susanoo lol toad sealed away 4 good...no genjutsu effects the ms sharingan...itachi would hav took down 3 paths aswell seeing as their weakness was genjutsu. itachi wins.

i would have to say jiraiya could beat itachi in certain situations but itachi would most likely win more times then none... unless he is not healthy, then i would give them an even chance on winning except i would lean more toward jiraiya

Itachi was able to beat Orochimaru with genjutsu with extreme ease and Orochimaru is not an idiot, so I don't know how Jiraiya who is in the same category as Orochimaru (sannin) is meant to counter it, we have never seen Jiraiya deal with any genjutsu. Also the frog song takes foreeeeever to start, Itachi is not just going to stand around and wait until the frogs start singing LOL only reason that worked with the paths of pein was because Jiraiya was hidden in the tunnel and was being pursued, a well layed out ambush. Even if it was Itachi in that dark tunnel he would not fall for a trick like that anyway. Also you forgot about amaterasu, how on earth is jiraiya going to stop that beast of a technique? By the way a giant frog won't break Susanoo because Itachi has the spirit weapon things, the shield and sword. Oh right and Itachi performed a fatality on Orochimaru during his fight with Sasuke almost forgot that one lol.

iAlways thought that Itachi could take on Jiraiya anytime, any place.

Coming straight to the point.

1. Jiraiya may be able to free himself from Tsukuyomi via Sage Mode disrupting the genjutsu in itself.

2. Jiraiya's speed is quite fast in Sage Mode so iThink he can dodge Amaterasu easily.

How in the world is J-Man planning to take on the Susanoo iWonder?

Let's just say that J-Man was given subtantial prep time (including knowledge about Susanoo's strengths & weaknesses) what in J-Man's arsenal could possible counter the Susanoo?

Possible ways to counter:
1. Lure him out of the Susanoo maybe?
2. End the match fast?
3. Or deplete Itachi's chakra reserve when he is in Susanoo mode?

But we all know Itachi is no bag of hammers....
I am sure he will devise a plan to beat J-Man anyhow!

Jiraiya has deal wiv genjutsu before(was not on the same level as itachi's tho).. when some other ninja was using some water monster to fight and take over some small village.. anyway.. we all remember itachi trying his best to avoid him when they went for naruto. but then again it could be he didnt
what a all out dragged fight.. oro wasn't even at full strengh when he came
out of sasuke.. dont countU_U and i think oro was too hasty for those eyes and didnt do any preparation.. but they will still lose but wldnt be that easy as you say.

Lets compare Naruto in Sage mode and Itachi. Could Naruto beat Itachi while in Sage mode?? Jiraiya is not as strong and powerful in SM as Naruto is. I believe Naruto would require more than Sage mode to counter against Itachi which means Jiraiya mightn't be able to win this time. But who knows what could happen: well wish kishi would answer that??

Jiriya and Itachi are two people who are always going to be in my Unkown list as in we will probably never know what theyre capabilities were if they were to go all out in a fight where they had decent info on the other those two i think had more power than we think they do
