Jiraiya as a main character

Does Jiraiya has the necessary requirements to become a main character?

Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and Tsunade could run the Manga by themselves.

They are more interesting, in my opinion, than Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura in the long run. Plus, Kishimoto wouldn't need to include the shitty Hagoormo plot because only one of them is a Senju/Uzumaki, and she's not actually a bad character.


It would have been interesting to say the least if Naruto, and Sasuke were side characters in this Manga :lol

I agree. Jiraiya brings excitement; Tsunade brings the drama; Orochimaru brings that dark thrill and twist which mix it well.

Yes he does and he has all the qualities within himself to run the manga.

He is funny, perverted, serious ( ike a man on a mission). His lifestyle is enough to become the main character since he was gathering people to write in his holy book. He has had a lot f journeys, trained various students.

When it comes to MC, he is much better than the dattebayo guy.

No annoying failed Tsunade copy. The story of Jiraiya being injured in the mountain and Oro trying to put him out if his misery because of the enemy assaulting them from outside while Tsunade tries to stop him, is a prime example of the drama and chemistry a sannin story would offer. It also shows how Tsunade is such a better character than Sakura. Oro doesn't get butthurt or emo either. J-man isn't an oblivious idiot. It's Team 7 but without the negatives.</div>
