Listen, there has been alot of talking about these two recently, so I guess someone should tell you guys who is stronger and why.
1.) Orochimaru is equal to Jiraiya in base, or maybe a tad superior. It can go either way, but I do not see Jiraiya getting past 8 Headed Serpent. Not in base anyways.
2.) Jiraiya is way better than Orochimaru without hands. If you think otherwise, please get checked out. This is very simple, and probably the most accurate and undeniable point in this post. Jiraiya can summon Toads, but Orochimaru cannot summon Manda. He would need Kabuto.
3.) Jiraiya Sage Mode is better than Orochimaru base. Jiraiya is faster, stronger, better at Taijutsu, has more chakra (more natural energy), better Ninjutsu, and has better Ninjutsu. Orochimaru would be taken out with a sound genjutsu, because Shima and Fukasaku's genjutsu is superior to Orochimaru's ears.
4.) Jiraiya Sage Mode is better than Orochimaru with Hashirama cells. This is because Oro is featless with new cells. He may be definatly leagues above Jiraiya with these new cells, but for now, Jiraiya Sage Mode is better.
5.) Orochimaru with Edos is definatly better than Jiraiya Sage Mode. No contest or point needed. 1st Hokage would break control if Orochimaru summoned him, but the others could be forced into fighting Jiraiya. Even the half power edos in Part 1 are enough to help Orochimaru. They gave Hiruzen a pretty tough time. Jiraiya does have sealing techs, but Oro plus 2 half powered Kages is better than Sage Mode Jiraiya.
Edit: For anyone that says, "It would take time for Sage Mode Jiraiya to summon Shima and Fukasaku" please tell me you are joking. Jiraiya is not Naruto, meaning Jiraiya cannot go into Sage Mode without Shima and Fukasaku. When people say SM Jiraiya, they mean Shima on one shoulder, Fukasaku on the other, gathering natural energy for Jiraiya. (who is in Sage Mode.)
