When we're talking about the actual death J-mans was sadder but Itachi's story is being completed in these recent chapters giving him a redemption and making him really a hero when J-man was always good and the fruits of his labor are starting to really show in Naruto but J-man isn't likely to ever see his dream that he spent his whole life on become a reality and because of that I just feel that J-mans death was more touching and made a bigger difference in the manga
