Chapter 5
Naruto burst forth from a pile of bushes holding a Rasengan in his right hand. The sound of Kakashi’s Raikiri hastened his steps towards the pond in the direction Kakashi had left off to. He had sat watching Kakashi’s brief battle until their target had absorbed a fully charged raikiri. Sensing danger, he silently created a shadow clone, formed a Rasengan and had rushed forwards to encounter their adversary.
Honmalon turned as Naruto darted towards him and Kakashi, whom he held firmly by the hand. His eyes squinted as he focused on the massive ball of chakra being held by a stranger.
Reinforcements eh? He thought as he pulled Kakashi forward towards him at lightning speed while moving backwards, thereby placing Kakashi in direct line with Naruto’s attack.
Naruto stopped suddenly and turned his hand to the down, landing his attack on the ground and thus covering them in dust. Honmalon slid back and smiled as he watched the dust rise up around them. Dumb Ninjas! Using charging attacks like those! Pathetic! On his right hand glowed Kakashi’s raikiri.
Naruto covered his mouth as he tried to breathe in some air. He looked at Kakashi who just stood there panting softly and looking through the dust; thinking.
Twice now, he has moved at exceptional speeds. Kakashi thought. But his chakra levels are normal and the same as when I first approached him.
The smoke cleared slowly and Honmalon stood in shock as the smoke revealed nothing within. He bit his lower lip and began looking around.
“Arhhhhh!!!” Naruto roared as he sprung out from behind the bushes; again.
“What the-“ Honmalon looked shocked as if he was experiencing a Déjà vu. Thinking quickly, he spun around and landed the almost-exhausted raikiri on Naruto’s chest. The shinobi went up in a poof of smoke!
“Gotcha!” The real Naruto cried as he jumped down from his hiding place in the trees and made a grab at Honmalon. The next moment, he was flung a few feet backwards by the agile Honmalon.
Suddenly, the ground directly beneath Honmalon burst open as Kakashi shot out with a clenched fist aimed at Honmalon’s lower jaw. The timing was perfect and he was undetected till now; but he never made contact.
Honmalon was standing a few feet from them breathing lightly with a little trace of fatigue on his face.
“Oi, Kakashi-sensei! I thought you said you would get him with that maneuver!” Naruto cried.
“Naruto! I got what I wanted! Now, a slight change of plans.”
Kakashi looked at Honmalon with his Sharingan as an enormous fold of chakra began sipping back into a certain part of his brain. Hmmmm! The 1st of the 8 gates. That’s how he moved so fast! Seems like he can’t keep it open for long! Time to wear him out!
“Naruto, I want you to listen to-“
“Kage bunshin no jutsu!” Naruto cried and smoke poofed by his side as another clone appeared. Before Kakashi could comment further, Naruto had already formed a rasengan and was off towards Honmalon.
Honmalon quickly released the 1st gate and with a burst of energy was standing clear from Naruto’s rasengan. He stood and watched as Naruto came to a halt and looked over at him; a strange grin on his face.
“Did you see that, Kakashi-sensei?” Naruto’s clone asked. “He stopped your lightning jutsu but had to dodge my rasengan.”
Kakashi smiled as he realized what Naruto just did. “Naruto-kun, try to keep up.” With that, Kakashi released his own 1st gate and glared at Honmalon.

Takenouchi kept running as fast as he could while a great bird flew above him. Sakura glanced down as soon as they had passed him slightly then leapt from the bird; her chakra-infused fist pointed at the ground.
Takenouchi was flung back by the cherry blossom effect of Sakura’s punch which had cracked the ground in front of him. He regained his position and was about to continue running when Sai landed with the bird about 8 feet in front of him.
Fight or flight, eh? He thought as he looked from Sakura to Sai and back.
“Sai, we need to end this now! We don’t know what he’s capable of and I’m not about to find out!”
“Don’t push your luck, Kids!” Takenouchi cried as he took out a knife and some smoke bombs. He darted towards Sakura with the blade. Sai took out his scroll and scribbled some snakes and animated them. The snakes shot forward after Takenouchi as Sakura braced herself for impact.
Takenouchi threw down a bomb and was engulfed in smoke. With one quick motion, he threw his knife at Sai. Sai’s eyes were closed as he controlled the snakes while seeing through them. Fortunately, a snake saw the blade fly towards him and he was just in time to move his head out of the way; it managed only to scratch his cheek.
The smoke cleared slowly and Sakura stood shocked as Takenouchi stood amongst the snakes; not a single creature attacked him.

Koushiro hid behind a tree and drew out his sword. He wasn’t good over long distances and preferred to fight rather than fly. Besides he was sure he was being followed by a woman; how hard could it be to kill her.
Hokori darted forward, red hair flying in the wind as she scanned the area for her target.
Suddenly, spikes rose up from the ground beneath her. She leapt up to avoid it and landed on a tree branch. Earth release, eh? She thought as she kept on scanning around for him.
“Hey, do yourself a favor and come out; or I’ll hurt you.” She called out towards a tree.
Koushiro cursed under his breathe and he placed his hands on the ground to perform another jutsu. Concentrating chakra into the ground, he began forming a network of chakra lines through the earth, loosening it up and making it durable for his own use.
“Earth Release: Stone Gollum!” He cried as the Earth began forming and image of a beast a few feet fro him. Slowly, earth covered his legs and he began to control the Gollum statue.
“WTF!” Hokori cried as she looked at the size of the statue.
The statue turned and swung its arm at her. She made it to the next tree as it destroyed the one she was standing on. Then Koushiro made it place its hand on the ground causing the earth to sink slightly and shake the trees.
Hokori managed to land safely on the ground once the sinking had ceased. She turned towards Koushiro, ready to evade his next attack.
“Hmm!! I knew it. You are just a woman. Women should become Kunoichis, you’re all just one big mistake to mankind. Time to die, you c**t!”
Hokori stopped, a sinister look in her eyes. She gritted her teeth beneath her mask as her fist clenched.
“Did you just call me… a c**t?” She placed her hands on her sides and two golden blades poofed out from the pouches. She held each one in her hands as her chakra began to flow into the blade and the blades began to glow red.
Suddenly, each blades burst into flames the surround the main blade and covered twice the length of the actually blade. She crossed her hand across her chest and took a stance.
“You are gonna eat your f**king words, you f**king bastard!” She snapped.

“Kuchiyose no jutsu.” Takuya cried as he placed his hand on the ground and a bluish-grey tiger stood in front of them. The tiger had a saddle on its back and a metal ring on each leg.
“Hey, Takuya! Where’s Hokori-niichan?” The large tiger asked. It wasn’t very big, but it was big enough for 3 people to ride on it.
“Sorry, Hokori-sensei isn’t here, Sabiru-san, but she needs our help now.” And with that, he motioned to Zeya to climb on.
“You’re not coming, Tatsu?” He asked.
“No, there’s a bit of information I would like to check up on. I can’t come with you guys. Later!”
Takuya signed. “Suit yourself, dude.” Then he climbed on behind Zeya and grabbed the reins attached to Sabiru’s collar and took off out of the village.
Tatsu smiled as he took out the letter and returned to the library.

Takenouchi stood and looked at Sakura. “Your friend can’t attack me anymore; he’s poisoned!” Quickly, he made a few hand seals. “Time for you to go bye-bye, little girlie!”
Sakura’s head began to spin as Takenouchi’s genjutsu began to overpower her senses. Slowly, she dropped to her knees as she tried in vain to withstand the effect of the genjutsu. She looked up at Sai as he lay sprawled on the floor, left leg twitching.
Takenouchi walked up to her and pulled out another knife. He knelt by her side and stared at her eyes and smiled.
“It’s a pity to waste a pretty thing like you. But orders are orders.” And with that he drove the knife straight into her chest.
Black liquid began to ooze out of her body as Takenouchi jumped back.
“What!?”
An instant later, he was flying 8 feet away from the body he had just pierced. He landed badly and cut his arm on the knife he was holding.
Sakura ran over to Sai and checked his vitals. After the 4th war, Tsunade had begun teaching her how to form a chakra seal on her body. So far she had managed to gather enough chakra and had stored it somewhere in a very weak seal on her left knee. The genjutsu had disrupted her chakra flow and she could not keep the seal in place; causing it to break.
The large flow of chakra was what she needed to break free of the illusion placed on her. Luckily, Sai had given her a replacement capsule. A slight boost of chakra and the capsule will create an exact clone of the user in whatever state they were in and allow the user to escape safely.
She took out a pill and fed it to Sai, who slowly regained consciousness. Thinking quickly, Sai re-animated his lifeless snakes and the bound up Takenouchi. Then he collapsed on the floor from exhaustion for using the little chakra he had just gained from her pill.
Suddenly, a large bluish grey tiger burst out towards them and stopped. Zeya jumped down and ran to Sakura.
“Sakura-chan, how bad is he?”
Sakura smiled and signed in relief of seeing a friendly face.
“He’ll be fine. All he needs is some rest.”
Takuya interrupted them. “Where are Hokori-sensei and the others?”
Sakura pointed the direction and with the speed of light, Takuya and Sabiru were off.

“You’re dead meat, a**hole!” Hokori roared as he dashed forward at Koushiro’s Gollum statue. She began to slash at the statue but to no avail. With one sluggish movement, the Gollum flung her to its side and was about to crush her.
She rolled out of its way and stuck one of her blades in its hand. She noticed Koushiro flinch as soon as the blade struck the gollum’s hand. She quickly regained her feet and held the second blade in her hand.
“Kai!” She shouted.
Suddenly, chakra from the surroundings began to draw into her blade and heat up. At a certain temperature, it exploded and destroyed the Gollum’s hand; Koushiro roared in pain.
“Jerk! Size doesn’t matter when you’re facing off with me.” She said as her blade flew back into her hand.
Koushiro laughed. “Women. So easy to jump to conclusions. You’re in for a surprise, bitch!”
Slowly, the Gollum’s hand began to repair itself by consuming Koushiro’s chakra. Then, its left hand turned into an earth based sword. Koushiro smiled at her, mocking her.
Before she could react, the Gollum aimed its sword arm and thousands of kunai shaped rocks fired out at Hokori, blasting the area and covering everywhere in dust.
Koushiro began to laugh maniacally at his triumph over Hokori. He looked out and said to himself. Women are all the same, dumb, naïve, and-
“What’s the big deal bringing me out here, Hokori-kun?” Came a gruff voice.
“Sorry, Kenshi-sama. I don’t usually need summons, but this jerk cut my face. No bastard cuts my face.” Replied a female voice.
The dust cleared and revealed a Tiger larger than Sabiru with reddish brown fur and long sabre tooths. Black stripes ran the length of its body underneath a white robe. Standing on all fours, Kenshi was about 7 feet tall and had a white scar that ran along the left side of its face; giving a sinister look.
“Well, this is gonna be fun.” Kenshi said as sulphur began to sip from his mouth. “Let’s get this over with.”
Kenshi took off towards Koushiro with Hokori on his back. He opened his mouth and a fiery blast shot forward at the Gollum statue, slowly destroying the earth based creature.
Koushiro made a few hand seals. “Earth Release: ground sinker!”
The earth beneath them began to dissolve slowly, throwing Kenshi off balance. Kenshi leapt forward with a charging attack as Hokori made some quick hand seals.
Koushiro smiled. He had them right where he wanted them. Concentrating chakra in his left arm, he swung fully at the large tiger and sent in rolling into the nearby bushes.
Hokori jumped off Kenshi and cursed. “Stupid tiger!” She hissed as she landed on the Gollum’s chest and stuck her blade in it again. With one quick maneuver, she sprung backwards and upwards away from the statue and made a tiger seal.
“Fire Release: Gas cloud!” She then blew out a concentrated stream of liquid gas that enveloped the statue. Her flame blade still contained some her chakra. By concentrating hard she increased the temperature of her chakra infused blade to produce a single spark.
KA-BOOO-OOOOMM!!!!!!
The explosion rocked the forest and the Gollum crumbled down to pieces. Koushiro stood there shaking feverishly, trying to regain his thoughts after the explosion.
Hokori landed and smiled as her blade flew back into her hand. Koushiro glared at her and slammed his palm on the ground.
“Earth Release: Ground spikes!” Torrents of spikes emerging from the ground moved towards her and struck her before she could react. Slowly, the spikes retracted into the ground as Hokori lay down on the ground motionless.
“Hehehe! Bitch! F**ked you good, didn’t I?” He jeered, his body weak from combat.
Suddenly, he felt a palm rest on his back and a light voice saying:
“Hiden Kambara: Restraining lightning.”
Chakra began to envelop his body, binding him in place and restricting movement. A light buzzing sound began to emit from the chakra mass surrounding him as he turned and stared into Hokori’s left eye which was still exposed; her ribbon had cut off and her mass of red hair covered most of her face.
“To think that the likes of you could escape the prisons of Tani. You’re a disgrace to ninjas! A common replacement jutsu could have been figured out by anyone. Do you think I would summon a tiger if it could easily be tossed aside?”
By now, he was completely engulfed in the chakra mass exposing only his legs and his shoulders upwards. He looked up as the figure of Hokori turned back into a Tiger in a cloud of smoke.
“Oh, and one more thing.” She said as he began to struggle from the bind. “This jutsu, restraining lightning, was developed by my clan 5 years ago. Luckily, an elite few of us have mastered it enough for it to become a signature move. I’ll spare your life by telling you something.”
She placed her face next to his ear and spoke lightly.
“The mass of chakra consist of tiny molecules of chakra that are constantly vibrating. The more you move the faster they vibrate; and you know whet happens when chakra is vibrated at a very high frequency. Thanks to the 4th war, this skill shall be known far and wide.”
With that she pushed him onto the floor and wiped her face as Kenshi came towards her. She grabbed her two blades and re-sealed them in her pouches.
“D-Y-N-A-M-I-C E-N-T-R-Y! “ Came a loud voice as a bluish grey tiger burst forth with a boy on its back.
Hokori raised an eyebrow towards Takuya in disappointment.
“Dynamic entry!? That’s not even a Taijustu move; it’s something Guy came up with to look cool when we were young.”
Takuya came down scratching his head, realizing how stupid he looked. He had just missed all the action and all he did was jump out and shout ‘dynamic entry’.
“You okay, Hokori-sensei? You have a cut below your left eye.” He said as he reached into his pouch and took out a hankie which he handed over to her.
“So, what have you learnt about these losers.” She said, indicating the
retrained convict on the floor.
After relating his findings, Hokori fell silent. A few moments later her eyes widened.
“Oh God! Kakashi and Naruto! Takuya, we must hurry, now!”

Naruto stood as two blurry shadows moved back and forwards across the forest. After opening the 1st gate, Kakashi had charged straight forward at Honmalon, forcing the latter to use his gates excessively. Seeing an opening, Naruto launched forward.
“Wind release: Wind dagger!” Naruto made a slash with his hand and an extremely large Kunai flung forward.
Honmalon made to block the kunai, which moved at a very high speed. Instantly, the kunai disintegrated and formed a sharp stream of wind. Honmalon smiled as he swung his hand and the attack deflected back at Naruto.
Kakashi landed a hit on him, sending him crashing to the floor. Honmalon rolled and regained his feet and watched as Kakashi landed next to Naruto.
“Great diversion, Naruto-kun. Now, all we need to do is pin him down.”
Naruto stared at Honmalon as he took in deep breath after another. His body must have too been exhausted from using the gates for too long, he probably wouldn’t do it again.
“Damn! Has it really come to this?” Honmalon remarked, startling both Kakashi and Naruto.
He raised his left hand and a blade protruded from inside his robe above his knuckles. The blade shone bright in the sun light and began to glow as his chakra sipped into it.
Clasping his other hand on the blade, Honmalon drew out the blade, which was attached to a chain of chakra emitting from his hand. He smirked and his eyes closed into slits.
“To think that I would have to use this to kill you both. Oh well, this is where the fun begins.”

Takuya interrupted them. “Where are Hokori-sensei and the others?”
Sakura pointed the direction and with the speed of light, Takuya and Sabiru were off.

“You’re dead meat, a**hole!” Hokori roared as he dashed forward at Koushiro’s Gollum statue. She began to slash at the statue but to no avail. With one sluggish movement, the Gollum flung her to its side and was about to crush her.
She rolled out of its way and stuck one of her blades in its hand. She noticed Koushiro flinch as soon as the blade struck the gollum’s hand. She quickly regained her feet and held the second blade in her hand.
“Kai!” She shouted.
Suddenly, chakra from the surroundings began to draw into her blade and heat up. At a certain temperature, it exploded and destroyed the Gollum’s hand; Koushiro roared in pain.
“Jerk! Size doesn’t matter when you’re facing off with me.” She said as her blade flew back into her hand.
Koushiro laughed. “Women. So easy to jump to conclusions. You’re in for a surprise, bitch!”
Slowly, the Gollum’s hand began to repair itself by consuming Koushiro’s chakra. Then, its left hand turned into an earth based sword. Koushiro smiled at her, mocking her.
Before she could react, the Gollum aimed its sword arm and thousands of kunai shaped rocks fired out at Hokori, blasting the area and covering everywhere in dust.
Koushiro began to laugh maniacally at his triumph over Hokori. He looked out and said to himself. Women are all the same, dumb, naïve, and-
“What’s the big deal bringing me out here, Hokori-kun?” Came a gruff voice.
“Sorry, Kenshi-sama. I don’t usually need summons, but this jerk cut my face. No bastard cuts my face.” Replied a female voice.
The dust cleared and revealed a Tiger larger than Sabiru with reddish brown fur and long sabre tooths. Black stripes ran the length of its body underneath a white robe. Standing on all fours, Kenshi was about 7 feet tall and had a white scar that ran along the left side of its face; giving a sinister look.
“Well, this is gonna be fun.” Kenshi said as sulphur began to sip from his mouth. “Let’s get this over with.”
Kenshi took off towards Koushiro with Hokori on his back. He opened his mouth and a fiery blast shot forward at the Gollum statue, slowly destroying the earth based creature.
Koushiro made a few hand seals. “Earth Release: ground sinker!”
The earth beneath them began to dissolve slowly, throwing Kenshi off balance. Kenshi leapt forward with a charging attack as Hokori made some quick hand seals.
Koushiro smiled. He had them right where he wanted them. Concentrating chakra in his left arm, he swung fully at the large tiger and sent in rolling into the nearby bushes.
Hokori jumped off Kenshi and cursed. “Stupid tiger!” She hissed as she landed on the Gollum’s chest and stuck her blade in it again. With one quick maneuver, she sprung backwards and upwards away from the statue and made a tiger seal.
“Fire Release: Gas cloud!” She then blew out a concentrated stream of liquid gas that enveloped the statue. Her flame blade still contained some her chakra. By concentrating hard she increased the temperature of her chakra infused blade to produce a single spark.
KA-BOOO-OOOOMM!!!!!!
The explosion rocked the forest and the Gollum crumbled down to pieces. Koushiro stood there shaking feverishly, trying to regain his thoughts after the explosion.
Hokori landed and smiled as her blade flew back into her hand. Koushiro glared at her and slammed his palm on the ground.
“Earth Release: Ground spikes!” Torrents of spikes emerging from the ground moved towards her and struck her before she could react. Slowly, the spikes retracted into the ground as Hokori lay down on the ground motionless.
“Hehehe! Bitch! F**ked you good, didn’t I?” He jeered, his body weak from combat.
Suddenly, he felt a palm rest on his back and a light voice saying:
“Hiden Kambara: Restraining lightning.”
Chakra began to envelop his body, binding him in place and restricting movement. A light buzzing sound began to emit from the chakra mass surrounding him as he turned and stared into Hokori’s left eye which was still exposed; her ribbon had cut off and her mass of red hair covered most of her face.
“To think that the likes of you could escape the prisons of Tani. You’re a disgrace to ninjas! A common replacement jutsu could have been figured out by anyone. Do you think I would summon a tiger if it could easily be tossed aside?”
By now, he was completely engulfed in the chakra mass exposing only his legs and his shoulders upwards. He looked up as the figure of Hokori turned back into a Tiger in a cloud of smoke.
“Oh, and one more thing.” She said as he began to struggle from the bind. “This jutsu, restraining lightning, was developed by my clan 5 years ago. Luckily, an elite few of us have mastered it enough for it to become a signature move. I’ll spare your life by telling you something.”
She placed her face next to his ear and spoke lightly.
“The mass of chakra consist of tiny molecules of chakra that are constantly vibrating. The more you move the faster they vibrate; and you know whet happens when chakra is vibrated at a very high frequency. Thanks to the 4th war, this skill shall be known far and wide.”
With that she pushed him onto the floor and wiped her face as Kenshi came towards her. She grabbed her two blades and re-sealed them in her pouches.
“D-Y-N-A-M-I-C E-N-T-R-Y! “ Came a loud voice as a bluish grey tiger burst forth with a boy on its back.
Hokori raised an eyebrow towards Takuya in disappointment.
“Dynamic entry!? That’s not even a Taijustu move; it’s something Guy came up with to look cool when we were young.”
Takuya came down scratching his head, realizing how stupid he looked. He had just missed all the action and all he did was jump out and shout ‘dynamic entry’.
“You okay, Hokori-sensei? You have a cut below your left eye.” He said as he reached into his pouch and took out a hankie which he handed over to her.
“So, what have you learnt about these losers.” She said, indicating the
retrained convict on the floor.
After relating his findings, Hokori fell silent. A few moments later her eyes widened.
“Oh God! Kakashi and Naruto! Takuya, we must hurry, now!”

Naruto stood as two blurry shadows moved back and forwards across the forest. After opening the 1st gate, Kakashi had charged straight forward at Honmalon, forcing the latter to use his gates excessively. Seeing an opening, Naruto launched forward.
“Wind release: Wind dagger!” Naruto made a slash with his hand and an extremely large Kunai flung forward.
Honmalon made to block the kunai, which moved at a very high speed. Instantly, the kunai disintegrated and formed a sharp stream of wind. Honmalon smiled as he swung his hand and the attack deflected back at Naruto.
Kakashi landed a hit on him, sending him crashing to the floor. Honmalon rolled and regained his feet and watched as Kakashi landed next to Naruto.
“Great diversion, Naruto-kun. Now, all we need to do is pin him down.”
Naruto stared at Honmalon as he took in deep breath after another. His body must have too been exhausted from using the gates for too long, he probably wouldn’t do it again.
“Damn! Has it really come to this?” Honmalon remarked, startling both Kakashi and Naruto.
He raised his left hand and a blade protruded from inside his robe above his knuckles. The blade shone bright in the sun light and began to glow as his chakra sipped into it.
Clasping his other hand on the blade, Honmalon drew out the blade, which was attached to a chain of chakra emitting from his hand. He smirked and his eyes closed into slits.
“To think that I would have to use this to kill you both. Oh well, this is where the fun begins.”
