How come Gaara with his sand could escape the gravitational force of CT, and when they are flying in air which makes them closer:

Due to the Desert Suspension Jutsu (Gaara Flying on Sand) that defies the laws of Gravity, CT using Gravitional force to pull Gaara toward the epicenter didn't work due to that very reason as Gravity </= No Gravity??

That's how I see it anyway, doesn't make much sense if you ask me tbh.

They stil have a mass to be effected, atleast Lee and Gai should have.
It is not even confirmed that they could get away. Maybe they could not avoid it yet.
