What we saw last? From what we last saw, they had pretty even portrayal in Fishman Island.I think we'll need to see some full fighting from both before we can really say. Jinbei should be stronger given what we saw last but Sanji should have had a greater growth rate over the 2 years than Jinbei so that gap could be a lot smaller now or even switched.
Yeah and me and Love Cook are best friends.Beside that badass dodge, Sanji has not shown anything impressive. What he has shown so far are not M3 level. He has not gotten chance and I am sure he has some powerups. He is M3 afterall and Sanji=Zoro. I think I may change this after next chapter gets released.
I seem to recall Jinbei being pretty clearly the winner if they kept going. Also Jinbei held his own against Luffy better than I'd expect Sanji to. I'll do some double checking later but as I remember it, Jinbei seemed stronger than Sanji back at FMI.What we saw last? From what we last saw, they had pretty even portrayal in Fishman Island.
I will say sanji for his lack of feats is the only person to ever knock a tooth loose from luffy's mouth even after fighting all these a'1 people and you cant say it was because he had his gaurd down, dolfomingo hit him pretty clean plenty of times the same goes for most people at marine ford or impel down and plenty of shots in the face too.I seem to recall Jinbei being pretty clearly the winner if they kept going. Winner? Winner in what? Sanji and Jinbe didn't fight, I'm talking about the way they handled Wadatsumi.I seem to recall Jinbei being pretty clearly the winner if they kept going. I thought you were talking about when Sanji got mad at Jinbei over Arlong and Nami, weren't they fighting then Robin stopped them? As I said I need a refresher but I seem to remember that moment being the start of the Jinbei should be M3 remarks.Winner? Winner in what? He held his own against base Luffy? Wow, you think Sanji couldn't handle base Luffy that well? Come on...
It's not so much that his guard was down but he put nothing into any kind of defense against Sanji. He wasn't blocking any hits. He didn't throw up any haki. He took every shot at full blast on purpose. So yes even though a lot of those other guys got good clean hits in, Luffy unless KO'd was always still somewhat defending.I will say sanji for his lack of feats is the only person to ever knock a tooth loose from luffy's mouth even after fighting all these a'1 people and you cant say it was because he had his gaurd down, dolfomingo hit him pretty clean plenty of times the same goes for most people at marine ford or impel down and plenty of shots in the face too.
Nah. Luffy and Jinbe were fighting and Robin tried to stop them by making a clone in between them as they charged at each other. Sanji didn't realize it was a clone and rushed to save Robin, and he got punched by Luffy and Jinbei simultaneously. Sanji and Jinbe just argued.I thought you were talking about when Sanji got mad at Jinbei over Arlong and Nami, weren't they fighting then Robin stopped them? Given Sanji's growth rate as a SH he could probably do just as well now but nothing indicated that back at FMI. That's why I said the last we saw Jinbei seemed to have an edge over Sanji.

Yeah lets say in that short interaction sanji landed 10 or 12 hits which is fair to say because we can count the number of named attacks he used which is at most 20, in any given fight someone has hit luffy in more than 20 clean hits without ko'ing him and sanji was one of the only two people who left a semi-permanent scar on luffy's face in that number of hits.I thought you were talking about when Sanji got mad at Jinbei over Arlong and Nami, weren't they fighting then Robin stopped them? What do you mean? Well, Zoro=Sanji. thats what I believe.Yeah and me and Love Cook are best friends.
Yes but he's also the only person, or one of the only, to fight Luffy while he didn't defend at all. You realize what you're saying is basically Sanji>Luffy's previous opponents because he did more damage than they did in the amount of hits he was able to land. Also Sanji is the only person to have scarred Luffy's face, the scar under his eye was Luffy himself.Yeah lets say in that short interaction sanji landed 10 or 12 hits which is fair to say because we can count the number of named attacks he used which is at most 20, in any given fight someone has hit luffy in more than 20 clean hits without ko'ing him and sanji was one of the only two people who left a semi-permanent scar on luffy's face in that number of hits.

Might be a little food of thought to consider that Sanji was also beat the hell up by his brothers at the time and only looked like he was fresh because of the mask Reiju gave him. So while Luffy wasn't doing anything to defend himself, there's also a chance that Sanji wasn't going at it with his best. Not to say that Sanji could knock Luffy out if they fought for real, but it's not a completely invalid feat.Yes but he's also the only person, or one of the only, to fight Luffy while he didn't defend at all. I don't think the how of the feat invalidates Sanji's strength but I don't think it does much in favor for it either. Say Sanji was 100% then all that would mean is he'd do more damage but Luffy would still not be resisting any of that damage, it's not really the same as damaging him during a fight. And you say Sanji was weakened but so was Luffy from his fight with Cracker so them then or them healthy is pretty close in comparison, they were both pretty rough.Might be a little food of thought to consider that Sanji was also beat the hell up by his brothers at the time and only looked like he was fresh because of the mask Reiju gave him.
