I never mentioned anything about destroying lives? As for happiness people create that not anything else and if you choose to believe in a higher power so be it I'm not going to enforce anything upon you. As i mentioned earlier in the post i said you should look into the other structures. Just by looking into them does not mean you shouldn't. Human should read everything they can and become a student not a follower. You make up your own damn mind and decide what is best for you. As for the dying kid with cancer, yes i would tell him there is nothing to look forward to because that is the truth. It may hurt the kid but at the same time it might not. Knowing the truth is more powerful than knowing lies and when you finally get to the end of your line you will die more peacefully knowing what truth there is rather than being lied to. You know what even if i am wrong and there is some sort of higher presence i would still go up to them and say "F*ck you where you stand and F*ck everyone around you". That would be the only true choice i would have made on my own rather than being a follower and accepting such a flawed concept of deities. The world is cold and dark and heading to oblivion that much is known. Mankind has had its peace for too long we need a wake up call.

Listen, I've read more philosophy than I count. I've studied many religions both ancient and modern including (Sumerian, Egyptian, Norse, Greek, Shinto, Christian, Judaic, Islam, Hindu, Buddhist, Taoist, etc.)

I've also studied up on the scientific viewpoints of creation/god/afterlife and one of my closest friends is Nihilist. So I'm pretty sure I've looked into enough structures.

If such an omniscient higher power exists, then your attitude would already have been predefined and thus eliminating any notion you had of choice.

Wow cold hearted, very tough. A child is dying and you can't even give him a comforting thought. It's funny since you don't really know what you're saying is true anyhow. You choose to believe in something horrible rather than good when there's no evidence that supports one or the other.

lol you live in a first-world country and you say the world is cold and dark? If you've read up on your history, we're living in the most peaceful era in human history thus far. So the world is actually progressing rather than heading to Oblivion as you claim.

Likewise I have read many many books that I cant count as well and I read about the world not about the stupid propaganda that the media throws everywhere to know the world is dark to say it isnt is completely obnoxious. And yes I am cold hearted but because I checked choose to no other words will sway my being. But I will give you props man because you are just like me not easily swayed by words and true to who you are.

Well I'll take that as a compliment. I've decided my beliefs on my own and I'm constantly striving for knowledge. No one is controlling my opinions but merely expanding perspective.

At first fight Jesus .... but if Kratos manages to lose all his powers, get resurrected somehow and then kill off most of the other Abrahamic powerhouses and finally faces Jesus with something like .. say Spear of Destiny ... then Kratos may win.
