I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that the bible feeds us all kinds of lies and contradictions about "love your enemy", and yet, we see mass slaughter of suckling infants and innocent boys, girls, unarmed men, women (old and young), and innocent domestic farm animals by the tens of thousands

i think it was the wife of Lot, in the sadom and gamorah story. god rained fire on sadom and gamorah but saved lot and his family, telling them to never look back. Lot's wife couldn't resist and looked back and then she turned into a statue of salt.

the most ridiculous thing is that people claim the statue is still out there and you can see it. in the dead sea in israel (soppousdly the place where sadom and gamorah used to be) one of the pillars of stone on the shore is called "Lot's Wife".
