Yo, Jessica Jones is the worst person with a powerful ability. How does she have the main villain right next to her and she doesn't grip this n*gga up and put him to sleep? Like what? Are you serious? The main dude is straight up inches away from her and she does NOTHING? She can punch someone so hard their heart stops, but she can't take on 3-4 dudes in a fight? The show would be a really good one if she wasn't such a garbage ass character. The actress is good, all of the supporting actors are good. Everything in the show is good, besides her trash ass character. /rant


I'm only on episode 7, but seriously all she had to do was snuff this dude and it's over. She can literally put my man to sleep in one hit. This shit irks my soul.

I loved JJ. Fantastic character and show. I loved her character.

Her "relationship" with Killgrave is complex. It is all in the show for why she doesn't just kill him. She is the one person who shouldn't and doesn't want to be a hero, but tries because she just can't help herself. It is Patsy's big influence on her. Being a hero means not killing. Being the better person means not killing. Being something more than what you are means trying to see the good. She clearly hates him and wants him beyond dead and him to be destroyed and punished, but the idea of justice has a lot of viewpoints. He raped her and it takes every ounce of her not to, but she knows she will lose herself if she does. She does it to keep herself sane. Watch the rest of the show. I'm avoiding spoilers. Just finish it, come back, and then tell us your thoughts. If you still don't like her, that is okay. To each their own. I loved her, you didn't. Alls good.

I'm not saying she had or has to kill him. Knock his ass out and put him in solitary confinement like they wanted to at the beginning. All she has to do is throw home boy in a head lock and it's done.

Nope, Jessica Jones is back to being literally the f*cking worst character in the history of television. I love how they try to make it seem like she's intelligent in any way but they cant create a proper character around her abilities? She's super strong and can't push one dude off of her. She can run a mile in 4 minutes, but can't catch a man who has been shot. She literally has to wrestle an old ass man to stop him from trying to cut his heart out(She could easily knock him out, which she does after wasting time wrestling the scissors out of his hands), but can stop a car from hitting a little girl. She literally makes the worst decisions for being someone who is supposed to be of higher intelligence.

The writers truly dropped the ball on this character and it's really sad because this series would have been amazing if it weren't for how idiotic this character was written.

That's the problem. Absolutely nothing is wrong with the episodes other than her character. It hurts my soul watching this character do stupid things that one would not do if one had those specific abilities.

Damn, that sucks. But if you like Luke Cage (the black guy), he'll get his own series this or next year I'm not sure anymore.

Also, have you watched Daredevil? If not, I highly recommend that one.
