OT: The Jehovas are fine by me. They aren't asking if you've heard of him. They're asking if you "know" him on a spiritual level. However, I will agree with you that it's sad they don't celebrate birthdays. To each their own though. I say this as an atheist, by the way.

Actually, it's not. "Know" has several different definitions, a fact that you're failing to recognize. You may know of someone, but not actually know them. For example, I know my state's elected officials, but not personally.

If you asked if I knew the devil, I would say "no" because I haven't met him, and I don't believe he exists.
