Buggy talks trash to Shanks because he and Shanks are friends, and he knows Shanks won't attack over that, so he isn't scared.

Jabra talks trash to Lucci because he knows Lucci is composed and won't attack him, and he's confident that if he does, he can fend him off(even though he can't), so he has no reason to be scared.

Crocodile talks trash because he's fearless and is confident in his ability to survive, he doesn't fear his opponents.

Jabra wasn't scared of Kaku, he realized Kaku's attack was gonna come towards all directions, including the direction he was in, and that due to recently eating his DF, he could lose control, so he dodged. It's that simple.

Let's say Jabra needed a level 40 attack to put him down, and Kaku needed a level 35.
Sanji took two DJs, so we could say DJ is about a 20.
Asura took out Kaku in one blow, so it could be about a 36.

Jabra>Kaku, but Asura>DJ, see how it adds up?

Who in their right mind would let an attack that could kill them hit them? Rob Lucci dodged many of the attacks Luffy threw at him, and Luffy dodged attacks that Lucci threw at him. Does that mean Rob Lucci and Luffy were scared of each other?

Rob Lucci purposedly dodged some of Luffy's attack as a show-off. When he could block some of them, he blocked as well. He even tried to tank a gear3 punch with tekkai before realising it would be impossible and later on made the good decision in starting to dodge them. Total different from someone who high tails from fear. Himself says "it's not good" and then high tails in debris as far as possible
