Java based RP game for NB

Rather than a RP system that is all text and easy to ignore the rules until one person gets bored of it, they should make a java or flash based RPG for this site. Nothing overly complicated, just a simple turn based game where people make a profile and level up, learn moves and so on, thats based on the sites RP system. Something like an old pokemon game, but ninja styled.

Maybe make it only available to premium members, which would almost definitely triple the amount of people who became premium members if it was actually a fun game. I don't think it would be too complicated to make if someone with some talent at java scripting worked on it.

Not only would it put a different and fun twist on the RP system, but it would probably boost NB,s popularity. Maybe add a ranking leaderboard system to it so people can show off who has the most wins and what not.

Post if you think this is a good/bad idea. Also, post if you have any suggestions to this, or know anyone, or are yourself capable, of being a creator of this. I don't myself know how to make games, I just have an idea on what the game should be.

Honestly sounds like it could be fun, but I prefer the one we already have. It sounds like it might be a lot of work too. If someone decided to make that in addition to the RP we already have I wouldn't be opposed.

I don't agree. The text RP is good the way it is, we wouldn't want the forum flooded with game nerds anyways. NB probably doesn't even have the capacity to hold such thing. It's not like we could just go to a site with something similar and just rip it, we would need to create or own. Mugiwara, if I remember correctly tried this, we don't have the resources. We don't have the needed/enough artists, character designers etc etc. Also, only for premium? What if someone simply doesn't have access to a credit card etc? What if someone simply can't purchase premium from their/someone's card? That would only cause the RP to fail.

Yeah the RP system thats there obviously can stay, but this would be something cool for premium members or something. And since something like that would surely boost premium sales, the extra money coming in would help pay for the work in creating and maintaining it.

Doesnt need to be only premium, but that would help control the flood of game nerds. Make it paypal accessible would make it easier, not sure if premium already is paypal accessible though. I'm not talking something very complicated, at least not animation wise. Just an easy way to make it stay within a set of rules, rather than making people creating their own rules. Just a simple thing with a few animations.

Its just an idea, and perhaps there are members on this site who have this kind of knowledge and would be willing to help.

Thats just an idea to help keep it smaller and more simple to maintain rather than having to handle thousands of players, and something like that could boost premium sales which would be helpful to NB. Doesn't have to be only premium.

Well text based RP is endless and full of any kind of option. A java game would have to be limited and tough to make. Honestly I am preferring this RP over most MMO's and games.

Yeah this is just an idea to open up RP to people who aren't into text based RP. Start with a simple set of rules, and if it becomes popular and generates income by increasing premium sales, then it could be expanded with more options added as time goes by.

It would convince me to buy premium. I think if done right it could be pretty fun.

Well if it was made for premium members only, it wouldn't be charging money or it, it would be charging money for premium membership, and having this be an added benefit of paying for premium. The reason I say premium only is because it would boost sales, and something like this wouldn't be free or easy to make, so therefore so sort of income would need to be generated, even if just enough to pay for the game itself with no extra profit.
