After training with Batman, Jason learned to channel his anger. Rather than letting his fury bottle up, he would vent it by taking down criminals in the Ninja World. This would lead to adverse effects however. The more Jason channeled his anger, the less merciful towards criminals he became. Several spats broke out between him and the Dark Knight, and reached an ultimate high when Jason appeared to kill the man who killed his parents and shattered the collar bone of a petty criminal. Much to Wayne’s dismay and concern, Jason appeared to feel no remorse for his actions, simply saying that they deserved what they got.
After his “resurrection,” Jason became less temperamental. As an adult, he is instead a calm individual, confident in his abilities. While this does make him cocky, he is also able to back up his claims, being sure to never overestimate himself or underestimate his enemies. Jason commonly banters and belittle his opponents and allies alike with witty sarcasm, though his tauntings has gotten him into hot water many times. Now on his own, unlike his former mentor, Jason has no qualms about killing. While Bruce strived to teach Jason not to kill or become a criminal to stop criminals, Jason sees this as the only way to truly stop them, blurring the line between hero and villain with his actions.

His nihilism at an all time high, Jason decided to go big or go home. He decided to infiltrate a crime boss’ wearhouse and steal enough money from him to join the ninja academy and get a better life, fully willing to accept death were he to fail. However, his suicidal heist was snuffed by the presence of Batman in the wearhouse, who was exacting a plan to take down the crime boss himself. Jason instead turned to robbing the Dark Knight, but was easily caught. Seeing potential in the child and wanting to keep him on the right path, Batman revealed his secret identity to him and adopted him, giving him a better life. Jason took on the mantle of Robin, and underwent mentorship with Wayne.
Jason and Wayne fought side by side for years, but as their trust and compability grew, so did their friction. Wayne disapproved of Jason’s tendency to often go overboard, ruining months of planning or putting people in the hospital unnecessarily. Their friction reached an all-time high when Jason found out that Wayne’s greatest enemy, the Joker, was involved in his parent’s death. Furious, Jason snuck off to find and kill the Joker. Despite his best effort, he failed, and was tied up and beaten by the Joker. Seeing a perfect opportunity to deal a blow to the Batman, Joker locked Jason inside of a building laced with explosives. As Jason crawled towards the locked door and Wayne approached the building, the explosives went off, destroying the building and burying them under the rubble. In utter grief, Batman held Jason’s body amidst the flames.
As Batman prepared for Jason’s funeral back home, however, his body was stolen. Prior to Jason’s death, Batman was investigating a mysterious criminal known as Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s was working in secret with the criminal Orochimaru, the latter seeking the former’s secrets on his immortality. Orochimaru’s interest in his method of immortality, the Lazarus Pit, led to Orochimaru experimenting on the mystic liquid with ninjutsu. Hearing of Jason’s death from Ra’s, Orochimaru stole the body and used it as a test subject for his Lazarus kinjutsu. The technique successfully resurrected Jason, but left his mind in shambles as a result. Escaping in a rabid state, Jason’s sense of humanity, memories and sanity slowly etched back as he wandered the wild in his feral state. Once back to normal, Jason continued to travel across the world. Initially feeling full of resentment towards Batman for letting him die, Jason continued his training, mastering the basic 9 skills of a shinobi and two fighting styles, as well as other various arts, all for preparation to kill Wayne. However, his hatred quelled down, and he instead came to blame the Joker, the criminal world and Batman for his demise and the demise of many others like him. Jason adopted the Red Hood persona that the Joker once had and decided to continue fighting crime in the Ninja World. Needing a steady place to live in order to fully concoct a plan to kill Wayne and the Joker, he returned to Kirigakure, infiltrating the criminal world he was once an ant in, taking it by storm and becoming a kingpin himself, believing crime can’t be eliminated, but controlled.

At 16, he wore a red and green costume complete with a cape. Though he found it ridiculous, he donned it at the instruction of his mentor as they fought crime.
After his “death” and “resurrection”, Jason abandoned this costume and the moniker that went with it. He instead adopted the old persona of the man who killed him: Red Hood. Rather than a dome-shaped helmet, Jason wore a red motorcycle style helmet, with black markings around the white eye-holes. Complete with a black jacket, a skin-tight jumpsuit on his torso, black jeans and black combat boots that carried up to his shin with his jeans tucked into them, Jason fully symbolized his dark transition in his newer uniform. He has yet to adopt his Mandalore armor.

History:
Born to Mandalore parents in Kirigakure, Jason’s life did not know much peace for long. Living in the era of the Bloody Mist, his parents were killed by street thugs in a botched kidnapping attempt. Originally aiming to capture the trio and turn them over due to their clan heritage, mistaking the Mandalore for a Kekkei Genkai clan, the thugs instead panicked as Jason’s father fought back, killing him and his wife. Jason managed to escape, but was now bitterly alone. He managed to survive by becoming a vagrant, wandering around the slums of Kirigakure. He adopted skills in thievery, lying and manipulation from the criminals he was surrounded by, despite despising them for being the kind of people that took his parents from him. As the years went by, Jason’s dissatisfaction and anger built up inside of him, and he became more and more apathetic towards life in general.
