Strong words to call it Oscar worthy.

People were mad about Heath until they saw it. Same here.I love how people complain about this Joker for the tattoos but have no problem with the non white skin and the scars that Ledger's(Nolans) Joker added. Both were wrong as far as design goes but Heath brought his character to life and from everything I've heard about Leto's time on set he will as well. While we're on the matter, aside from the tattoo's(which are terrible) this has been the most Joker looking Joker, the skin, the hair, the size if it wasn't for those damn tats people would be all over this.
OT: I think it'll do well but I don't know yet about being better then Heath's, how much screentime he actually gets in the film will matter as well.
For those who don't comic... The joker had had tats before... I think this joker is the closest to the real thing. He is an insane super criminal that literally laughs in the face of certain death. Heaths joker was the best soo far but I think this one will be grear
I kind of hate this counter argument. While people do overreact, it is entirely fine for them to dislike something from what they've seen. Just because someone else blew everyone away, doesn't mean everyone will, but hey, whatevs.People were mad about Heath until they saw it. Same here.
Not even a portion of you is going to see it for Marogt? Really?I don't really care tbh only reaso I'm watching this is for Ben affleck's batman
I'm guessing you've seen the fan theory then about how Joker is really Angel Face after Fight Club and he went insane and moved to Gotham. Jerome was a great actor to play Joker(even if the show won't commit to it yet) he hands down earned himself a shot at the role from that performance. The Joker had tats in that one comic that one time! Makes it okay! #LoveThatLogic Comics can be pretty bad sometimes. Just because it was in one obscure comic, doesn't mean it is good. Sometimes source material is bad.
Anyway, I actually like the tats, just not the damaged one. Also not into the grill, but if that is a nod to Fight Club, I like it. I like the look of this Joker. It's all neon 2000-ish. Weird stuff. Now, my favorite Joker is probably 1989. I love mobster anything and Jack Nicholson's Joker is my favorite. Then again, I loved Gotham's Jerome A LOT. Tied maybe. Now, this is only live action wise. MH is just in a league of his own. Honestly, I like them all. A lot of good Jokers. All variety.
Lol don't care for Margot Robbie either just BataffleckNot even a portion of you is going to see it for Marogt? Really?

Truth be told I'm starting to wonder if the part can be played poorly(without actually trying to be bad) or if it's great casting every time. Now on the books Jack Nicholson probably wouldn't be on anyone's list for actors who feel like the joker(before his role) but he owned the part. Jerome an unknown actor for the most part(growing fame at the time) owned the role. Mark Hamill owned the role. Heath ledger owned the role. Leto appears to own the role. Hell even the misdirect in Gotham with the Red Hood leader owned the role.
