Jaraiya... The best damn teacher you could find

I remember first reading the chapter where he was killed... I felt he was going to make it out of there. I mean, sage mode has some of the most powerful jutsu ever, right? Anyway, I was reading it and i was confident Jiraiya could defeat them. He killed 4 of the six of pein at once... But he didn't kill the Resurrector... I was shocked... He had been stabbed multiple times in the back, and his throat had collapsed.

In the last moments of his life, he promised not to give up. He left his last words without saying a goodbye to anyone. He then sent off fukasaku, and at a great amount of force, the six peins smashed into him. He fell into the water, into the deep abyss, never to come out again.

I felt sadness, overwhelming my body. Tingling in my chest. I felt like i was going to cry :T_T:but then he passes the story onto Naruto... :')

He was truly the greatest.

(i'm not sure about the peins smashing into him....)

Jiraiya was an awesome character and an awesome Sensei to Naruto. He really made the whole manga/show feel a little lighter..I miss him.

Only 2 became evil...

We only 5 of his students, and only one with another known teacher is Naruto and all he ever learned from Kakashi was how to do figure out how to do the Rasenshuriken, which isn't that much help.

xD Yeah, that's actually what i did. Read the whole manga from the beginning, all the way to 580 or so... I also did that with the Anime. (skipping the giant annoying fillers while doing so -_-)

But yeah, definately the scene that impacted me the most. Kishi should make more before it ends... Which i hope he'll do soon... with Obito...

He also gave Naruto a motive for training, taught him to never give up. If Jiraiya never trained him, he wouldn't of gotten trained by fukasaku, i think that's his name, and wouldn't of gotten sage mode, and wouldn't have defeated pein.

Its not like Kakashi did much. Kakashi just taught him basic stuff. Even so, Kakashi is one of my favorite characters.

So yeah. He was a great teacher. It's people like you that have no hope in life. Think before you talk.

While this is true, when Sasuke was training with Orochimaru, it is stated by Tsunade that there was a possibility of Sasuke using drugs. While this is not certain, Orochimaru's training had to be really intense. Sasuke even said that he would do ANYTHING to gain power. He stressed that statement a lot. So of course there is going to be a difference in power.

Even with Jiraiya's training, Naruto couldn't have matched Sasuke's rate of progression.
