Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi is finally out in Japan under the name of Dragon Ball Ultimate Blast! it has actually been out since December 8th and thanks to Japanese analytics company Media Create, we have the sales figures for the first week. During the period between December 5th and December 11th, Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi sold 44,593 copies on the PlayStation 3. Since the game came out on the 8th, on average 11,148 copies were sold a day! The Xbox 360 version did not even break the top 20 so at the moment there is no data on it’s sales figures.
Looking at the list below, One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 for the Nintendo DS is still in the top 20! It was released back on November 17, 2011, 4 weeks ago. This week alone 18,696 copies of the game flew of the shelves of Japanese retailers, while the week before that 16,915 copies of the game were sold. Surprisingly, the demand for the game has gone up! In total, One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 has sold 179,052 copies to date in Japan. Good to see success come the way of One Piece and Dragon Ball Z!
