I am not bashing anyone i just wonder why a lot of japanese dont learn proper english in school. I mean this country got a high developed society and most of their buisness partners are english speakers as well.

how about your german try to speak japanese?

PS: I speak spanish, english plus german, thats enough to speak with... hmm i think at least 65% of the world.. i think even more.

Atm i try to learn japanese but i am lacking time

Unlike western people, Japanese is very strict in preserving their tradition and identity, and they also very closed society and looking high on their self.

The languages you mentioned are in the same family more or less and use the same script written in the same direction even. Do you realize that? I won't be surprised if Japanese find it easier to learn other oriental languages as well. Some common characters, similar words or uses etc.
