Just making this thread to make some things clear. In Japan, friendship-brothership and loyalty are VERY important. There whole culture is based on these 3 things. Just saying because sometimes I see people here wondering why Naruto keeps trying to save his friend, Sasuke. Even when Sasuke tried to kill him.

But really, it's always the same concept, al-ways! Each single manga.

Naruto: Naruto and Sasuke rivalry, friend-and brothership.
Berserk: Guts and Griffith. Griffith as the traitor.
Attack on Titan: Many bonds and stuff.
Vagabond: Musashi and Matahashi.
Bleach: Bonds.
One Piece: Bonds.
Gantz: Friendship is the key of surviving.
Monster: Loyalty.
.
.
.
(and so on and on)

It is just a very big deal in Japan. It is not weird, it is not 'an obsession'. It's part of there culture. Being loyal to a friend, being loyal to there bonds between them, being a good friend. It's about honor!

I think people refuse to see things from Naruto's perspective.

Sasuke leaves the village but before doing so, he actually qualifies his relationship with Naruto as a friendship. That wasn't Naruto people. Sasuke said they were best friends. Sasuke leaves and while he is gone Naruto vows to bring him back. Now this is where people start to get real trippy and bent out of shape. Remember, Naruto did NOT have the information WE had. Even though Sasuke attempted to kill him, he already made that clear during their fight. Despite that Naruto was determined to bring him home and have him see reason.

When Sasuke killed itachi and went to the cloud, Naruto did not have that information until the kage summit. And that was when gaara and the third raikage made him see reason. He has completely dropped the pursuit and even acknowledged that he may have to kill Sasuke even if it means dying as well. And he did that all in that ONE arc.

Try and see it from both of their perspectives to understand them a little better. Did Kishi take it too far at times? Yeah, but I think he's learned from it considering we haven't jack shit of Sasuke from Naruto's side of the pond.

most of that only happened in JUMP since their motto is

Friendship,Hardwork and Victory.
surely you can't say ALWAYS just because most of the manga you read use Friendship as one of their theme

I have read (and I am reading) around 25 manga's. In each single one of them friendship, brothership and loyalty were very important.

Depends on the genre, a lot of seinen and psychological mangas aren't like that at all ;)

To be honest: this is the worst superficial babble I’ve read recently XD
But, okay. Not gonna start a discussion. This is NB and I think you really tried. 

Say me one, I dare you. ;)

In each manga I can find stuff about these 3 things.

Mangas like kurosagi, Kimi to knife, and liar game where friendship isn't really the focus ;)

Team medical dragon. The characters aren't really loyal to each other, they just work together.
