japanese language is so hard to learn?

i want to go to university in Tokyo for one years but i can't get the hang of the language, please tell me if you know an easy method of learning the language?

It definitely is a hard language, however the same methods work, as learning the other languages. Watch films, try reading/translating, etc.

best bet is to watch alot of show/anime or movies that are Japanese,with subtitles at first to help you with sound the language makes. Then re watch whatever you watch without subtitles and see if can pick up on it. its like watching a movie twice.

Not sure where you are in your learning, but a software app called "Human Japanese" is a very good place to start. I also have an app to learn/practice the kana, and a separate app for the kanji.

It's really no different than anything else: set goals and follow through.

I studied japanese in high school for 2 years and I just know 5 hiragana and 4 katakana lol. yeah, it's hard but it would be easy depending on people who study it understand or not.

It is hard but the reason so many people give up on it halfway is because there really isnt much use of it unless you're in Japan. You got to have a lot of will to learn it. The biggest problem will be learning all the kanji while grammar is pretty straight forward. Also don't think you can learn it from animr or manga because you can't. You may memorize a few phrases but you won't get any further tham that.

I have some friends who decided to learn japanese, it takes determination. Learning katakana and hiragana alone may take a few months, depending on how much time you practice. Then you can read children's tales...The real deal is learning kanji...that takes years.
And yeah, remembering some phrases from anime won't really get you through in Japan.
