I have been thinking who are now the most popular Naruto characters in japan.

According to a liverdoor "poll", where only females were asked, Sakura is the third most popular character.... yeah, right.

Can you guys give me some more japanese character popularity poll sites or an official one?

Sasuke is the most popular charcter in Japan with Sakura and Kakashi not far behind

They had a poll not to long ago, but it was a white day( kinda like a valentine thing) and it went Sasuke>Naruto>Kakashi

Nah, somebody said that Sakura is more famous in japan than Sasuke, linking a Livedoor news post. But it only had "percents" and no numbers were given + it said it was made among females.

Hmmm. Sakura is popular in Japan yet Kishi blatantly stated he didn't bother developing her bc she was unpopular?

These polls don't add up to reality. What am I missing here?
