Well I just took one of my books that lists pretty much all the major battles in world history. It doesn't specify how much Japanese soldiers exactly died during WW II, however it does specify it for each of the major battles:
Pearl Harbor: 130
Philippines: 12 000
Midway: 2500
Coral sea: One aircraft carrier and 80 airplanes (doesn't specify the exact number of soldiers)
Guadalcanal: 25 000
Philippine sea: 31 000
Leyte Gulf: Four aircraft carriers and 21 other ships (doesn't specify the exact number of soldiers)
Iwo Jima: 20 000
Okinawa: 120 000
As you specifically requested Japanese military casualties caused by the USA, I left out the battles Japan had with the British Commonwealth and also the atomic bombs & other bombardments considering the majority of the 500 000 people that died because of those were civilian.
FYI the book I got the statistics from dates back to 2005, so the numbers are still pretty recent.
