Jace is known for and has a strong title for his good looks. He is described as having fine, curly, golden blond hair and eyes that look gold in the light with long eyelashes. He has a slim, muscular build and is about 5'11" in height. His face is often described as being beautiful.The only flaw in his face, as Some have noticed, is the slight chip in his incisor teeth. Which is said this proof that he is not that inhumanly handsome and perfect. It is said that Jace is seventeen years old, though that was assuming he was Valentine (or Michael Wayland's) son, and his real age is determined to be between a few years younger than Jonathan Christopher and a year or so older than Clary. Jace is also noted to be left-handed (like Valentine). He is said to look like his true father, Stephen Herondale, except around the eyes where he looks like his mother, Celine Herondale.He has a birthmark in the shape of a Diamond on his palms which his clans techniques originate from.

The archetypal Byronic hero, Jace gives the impression of holding most people in disdain but is quite chivalrous toward women. He is extremely arrogant, believing himself to be "the best Dark Release User" and to be above others. He can also be very sarcastic if he wants to be and is shown to be very confident about his looks and has dated a lot of girls, with Aline stating that he "gets around." His charisma, good looks, and charm have made him quite the ladies' man, and he is implied to be somewhat promiscuous among girls. Despite his luck with girls, he never forms emotional attachments for more than a brief amount of time, if at all, because of the way Valentine had taught him that "to love is to destroy." Jace Was born in Kirigakure but During the procedure his mother passed away.Leaving his father severly deppressed.One night during a full moon his father cut his wrists with such intensity he bled to death.Leaving jace without a father or any family in fact.As his family had moved to amegakure but his parents did not.The day after an old man found jace after him repedidly crying.Seeing that his father was dead the man offered to bring him up.At first the authorities were reluctant but soon agreed.During the ten yoears spent with the man who would become known as valentine he learnt to kill and never to love any.The old man however abandonded him once he heard that his true family had come back to retrieve him.Upon seeing the birthmark of their family he agreed to go with them back to their home Known as Amegakure.
Upon arriving at amegakure Jace met many friends and some he even renembered from his early childhood.Among them being Korra,roger,shinta,Quacus,Pain..,Kuroh and many others.During his time in Amegakure he also came to find that we housed a very powerful and dangerous branch of criminal ninja known as the akatsuki and team Taka.Even becoming as close as friends with some members.
