I will admit sage mode dose have more "sensing" ability then i had orignally imaged.

I still don't understand how jiryia escapes from c4. Sauske did it by genjutsu and lighting techniques. Running away wouldn't work in such a small period of time.

It'd be even faster for Jiraiya to escape because he does not have to put a frog under genjutsu to do the same thing...

Nice and all but jiraiya isnt a perfect sage, he doesnt have that ability.
Shame even after getting into sm, he needed ma frog to track down the animal path, this alone speaks volumes

Nothing stating that Jiraiya couldn't. Naruto said that having Natural energy does it.

But as the creature Pain was hiding in was meant to avoid detection, it's possible that it could hide it's chakra signature.
