[Discussion] J-Man Is Alive !!

I strongly belief that the j-man is alive
(altho a biased belief I do apologise im so biased but he is my fav character)

I don't think that kishi would kill off such a influential character he has a big role in the narutoverse from training naruto one on one for the entire time skip between the original series and shippuden

My facts supporting are
1 first off last time in manga we saw jiraiyas face he was alive (tho just) with pein rushing towards him (atleast to my knowledge I keep reading about his body being at the bottom of the ocean can't recall that please link me to the manga page for that

2 pa said something in the manga just before jiraiya left the message on his back going along the lines of is he bringing himself to life with willpower alone which I think was a hint from kishi

3 on the same chapter point 2 there is also a side note on the manga about fighting till the end and never giving up so pein just killing jiraiya at this point don't add up and I also feel may be a hint from kishi

4 kabuto has not to my knowledge revived jiraiya with edo and can't think of a logical reason as to why he would hold him back considering he only seems to have held back madara from clear reasons

And 5 tho debateable the prediction in circulation atm which so far is proving to be right states that jman will make a reappearence and will have some very juicy information but not very plausible if he is dead and going to be revived with edo as not really the time during a war and fight to give some juicy info and what info could he actually give ?

With these point I found it easy to assume that jman is alive and believe he escaped near to death from pien and went into hiding recovered and went on a deep cover spying mission to find out who was controling pien jman is easily intelligent enuf to figure out the nagato had no real reason to start the akastuki (sorry about my spelling can never remem how to spell this lol)

Don't flame its solely a theory up for discussion and if someone could please show me where it says that his body is at the bottom of the ocean please would be much appreciated

I loved Jiraiya. However, he's dead. *Forces into OP's thick skull* DEAD DEAD DEAD. We saw him die. Not to mention, he had his larynx crushed, impaged in the back, and he would have drowned and then his body crushed by the insane pressure in the deep water.

Kabuto can't retrieve his body, because the water pressure down their is so great that Kabuto wouldn't be able to handle it, although you never know, and I think that would be really cool for Jiraiya to be alive still, but it doesn't matter. Jiraiya would always live in our hearts, haha XD <3<3<3<3<3<3

He is dead, he was using willpower to stay alive long enough to leave that message and i believe kabuto will ressurect him, thouh he wont be as powerful as he was when he was alive... he cant go into sage mode by himself and his summons would refuse to fight naruto

If he is dead why hasn't kabuto revived him as an edo surely one of the sannin would be perfect for him to use and yet he hasn't as many have said they would have been plenty of dna for him to do this his blood was all over the place from his fight with pein
And if he was able to find madara someone who has been dead before he was even born finding enuf dna to revive jaraiya shouldve been easy for him

This for me is the biggest factor for me to believe he isn't dead

Also kishi keeping him alive is right in his style

bro in the manga and in the animation they show him stabbed seven times and drown in the bottom of an ocean. When pa said "he brought him self back to life with sheer will" its because jiraiya had already died fighting pain, and brought him self back to life with sheer will to write the coded message on pas back.

And never give up was his ninga which which led him to basically revive him self for a couple seconds to write the coded message. That is all hes doneskies man. He was my favorite too but lol accept the facts. He could come back as a edo i doubt it thought otherwise it woulda been done seeing as madara was kabutos trump card.

I can still see kishi making up a complicated and surprising story on how he survived

Jusy for fun anyone wanna make up a way on how he could have done this (no digs please guys actually make an effort if u want to do it if not don't bother posting)

And yet again I'm so so sorry I have no clue how I managed to miss that bit I can remember reading that chapter just not those pages I don't know why lol my memory must have rejected the idea of him being dead

why is it that he couldnt go into sage mode alone? the reason he didnt against pein was simply that he had to remain still, if kabuto ressurects him, and is smart, then he will have him go sage mode before running into battle, granted in sage mode and with his willpower he would break the edo like itachi. If he couldnt break it, then at the least he would sacrifice himself to not harm the others by screwing with his chakra balance, turning himself into a stone frog.
