IF Jiraiya would have known about his secrets, didn't Jiraiya would have come with full preparation like already activated sage mode, his summons and he would never have let his guard down.

Nagato didn't use shinra tensei because they were fighting in the city, not in outskirts. But with information on Nagato, it would have been really interesting fight. And Nagato mentioned that if Jiraiya would have known the secrets, he would have won against Pain's 6 Paths.

I'm pretty sure Pain was referring to the fact that if Jiraiya had known that the real Nagato was somewhere else, he would have made finding him his goal. He already showed that he could evade the Pain's (at least the first three), and if his intentions were to get to Nagato himself instead of defeating the Pain's, his odds would have been a lot better. However, I must say that even if that's the case, I do doubt that Jiraiya would be able to pull it off.

He can't beat Nagato with intel. Look at how much trouble Nagato gave Naruto, Bee and Itachi. Jiriya could barely take on 3 of the weaker paths let alone all 6 with deva path using his abilities and Nagato who is a different league than the paths.

Might of isn't definite and feats and logic show it's obvious who wins in a fight, you're also forgetting it's praise so he's exaggerating.

You misunderstood, nagato said he would have had a chance. If Jiraiya knew they were six pains he would have died with both of his arms

1. After he killed 3 bodies they where revived. This wouldnt have happened because he would have known to kill naraka path first.

2. He could solo any path 1vs1 or even 2vs1.
