He was so powerful compared to juugo that he could easily keep juugo in check, just like Hebi Sasuke could. And we all know Sasuke would beat juugo.

of course this is subject to change as it looks like kishi is going to have kimimaro fight juugo and suigetsu fight his older brother.

I completely forgot about that. I think Jugo stands a good chance though, he can take some serious damage which was shown when The Fourth Raikage punched a hole in his chest trough his arm, and he still kept on rollin'. I don't think Kimimaro has that kind of power, plus Jugo can transform parts of his body into whatever form suits the situation best. Just like how he cushioned The Fourth Raikages attack he can do the same to Kimimaro.

But you guys are 100% right, Kimimaro was chosen for a reason. Unless Jugo has improved since then which is unlikely because all he did was cage himself up again, he might have a better chance.
