I think when Sasuke shows up or when Madara is about to be beaten, he'll have a flashback about his relationship with Izuna. I think Izuna was probably stronger than Madara when they both had MS. Izuna thought he beat Hashirama, which is something big, but Tobirama uses Hirashin Slash to hit him off guard.

First of, no. And I think each MS is better in different things:
Sasuke's: Amateratsu (50%), Susanoo (25%) and Tsukyomi (25%)
Itachi's: Amateratsu (25%), Susanoo (25%) and Tsukyomi (50%)
Madara: Amateratsu (25%), Susanoo (50%) and Tsukyomi (25%)
Izuna's: Amateratsu (33,3..%), Susanoo (33,3..%) and Tsukyomi (33,3..%)

That's why Tobirama was amzed when he saw Sasuke being that good at Amateratsu

i think izuna did surpass maddy just like tobirama did hashi i also think izuna let his guard down and had a talk with hashi when tobirama slashed and killed him.. tobirama never trusted that talk no jutsu from any uchiha

How can you say Izuna has all of these MS powers when we have barely seen him fight? you can't just give people powers
