how do you guys think Izuna died? All we know is that it has something to do with the leaf since Madara has a grudge against Konoha & his own clan.

What ever happened,it happened in the future when he was a teen.And he did have the MS,so.......maybe he gave his eyes to Madara and then died in battle.Maybe at the hands of hashirama or tobirama or any other senju.

Or what may have happened is that he had to give his eyes to madara since madara had overused his MS against the senju,and when izuna died because he was lacking his eyes.So maybe Madara considered the senju responsible for izuna's death.U_U

Madara took Izuna's Eyes..... and as there was a shortage of implantable eyes, his appointment with the Surgeon was postponed..... due to that he got a massive infection and died.....

BTW Remember Izuna in his funeral cask with his eyes covered? Consider that .....

Actually I agree with this. However I'm pretty sure that both hashi and madara's fathers die here. Possibly by tobirama/Izuna. Because if madara had, at this point, already killed experienced adults, then Izuna should be capable enough to do it as well. I mean, he's survived beyond the other brothers. And the same can be said about tobirama.

I think the difference here is that hashi was able to forgive the uchiha simply because his ideals are strong. Madara can't forgive senju because of that whole emo sharingan BS. Which leads me to think that this may be where they learn about the true nature of the sharingan.

If he did, it would be very cowardly considering Izuna didn't have eyes.

My assumption is that he was killed by Tobirama. Wonder if it will be revealed during the current flashbacks or later on the battlefield.

Nah, he won't die now, it will be later when he is about 20. That all will still come but I think Tobirama isn't a nice guy. And Izuna isn't one either.

Tobirama killed him because of some girl or something like that. That made Madara mad, so he tried to kill Tobirama. Being a good older brother, Hashirama fought Madara to stop him.

Izuna wont die yet, otherwise Madara wouldn't agree with Hashirama to build the Hidden leaf. On the other hand, the dad dying is possible because father at that period are all douche.

As an ex member of Konoha's Anbu, the fact currently stands that he died honorably in battle. Blind, he fought to the last breath.

Hashirama killed Izuna sometimes later to save tobirama.
He and madara still had konoha built, and were still building it, but madara was always blood thirsty for his brothers' killer.
Madara later found out the hashi was the one to kill izuna
Madara throws his friendship with hashi away and goes ape shit. Hunts down kurama and just goes on a blood thirsty rampage for hashi's head.

Tl;Dr; Hashi killed izuna - madara wanted revenge
