We all know that hashirama and Madara share pretty identical views and that in naruto there is almost always a parrarell
to every charater. Now im thinking izuna probably felt an eye for eye as itama did. Madaras other brother who died probably had the same ideals as tobirama but thats not important. Now Izuna probably wants revenge for his other brothers as itama did but will also end up killed because of it

Madara was given the eye last time I checked and like a true shinobi, Izuna couldn't keep his ass down even without his eye sight, ending with him dying. Seemed pretty clean since he still had a face during his open casket.
