Izuna error???

So it was said that Izuna died blind in battle in the databook right?
Now all of a sudden he died with his eyes, because of the wound caused by Tobirama.

The manga said he gave his eyes to Madara or they were taken, but both stories made it seem
as if Izuna sacraficed himself/was sacraficed, while actually he was about to die anyway.
Not much of a sacrafice but more of a using his eyes, before he dies.

What do you think of this possible error in the manga?

It's very possible Izuna survived, but gave his eyes to MAdara in order to make him strong enough to make them pay.

Like his brother sacraficing his eyes to him, instead of his brother getting oneshot by Tobirama and THAN giving his eyes .

The story is tolled from two different people one who has lied and deceived practically everyone (obito/tobi) And hashi who is just giving his childhood knowledge to sasuke so it's a matter of who you believe is telling the truth. I believe is been said to make it so that you believe what you want and it doesn't change the fact that Madara has his brothers eyes wether they were taken or given.

Apparently you cant read, or you wouldnt have made this comment.

The point is, that the databook and story, made it seem like Izuna was sacraficed.
Either by giving his eyes or by them getting taken, while in reality, he was dying anyway due to Tobirama's slashwound.
It was not much of a sacrafice if he gave his eyes to Madara, cause Izuna was dying anyway.
It was not much of a sacrafice if his eyes were taken by Madara, cause Izuna was dying anyway.
His eyes would turn useless if he died with them.

Maybe the reason Tobirama was able to wound him was because Izuna had the Mangekyo and his eyesight was going bad.


Oh yeah and others made some good points, the story might be different because they were told by different people. The databook version sounds consistent with the way Tobi was telling it.

The story before this was told by tobi, who might have lied to sasuke to make him more angry..or just didnt knew whole story behind madara.. This is now from eye witness so no doubt this is how it all happend.

Even Itachi with this similar story, was using it as a basis to increase sasuke's resolve to kill him

However now with someone who was first hand there revealing the facts, it becomes a plot hole...i just dnt get it

Madara said the reason he died was because of that wound, well i say a bear comes and tears my arm off.... i can still die in battle a few years later, i probably wont be as good as i am now, but isnt that the point?

True, maybe that wound lowered his moblity and that made him die in some battle later on.

I still think he killed Izuna. When he showed Hashirama his EMS and said his brother died from his wounds, I just didn't buy it.
