Izangi's light

What will happen if an Edo uses Izanagi ( I know they dont need it am just putting this subject for assumption ) He loses light, what will happen if he cuts his eye off, and then the eye heals, will light be restored ?

I dont think he needs to cut his eye out, maybe it will just recuperate at the cellular level, that would be my guess.

Apparently your eye doesn't heal, I think it works like a seal, whereas you can not open your eye again, or the eye's "light" is permanently gone. Of course this is all speculation, but Itachi's eye color faded and he closed it after using the infamous Izanami.

Nope it 'claims' your 'eyes light'for good, even if the eye physically grows back, the light wouldn't come back
