I posted this thread a few days ago but didn't really get any answers to my questions, and thought I'd try again now since there seem to a lot of active member online ATM

Please don't post thing like, "just read the chapter again" because I've read it a gazillion times, but still don't truly get this technique...

Anyways, here's the thread:

Hey, I'm currently making a vs thread including Uchiha Itachi, and I'm confused about something, which I was hoping someone could clear up.

I hear some users on Itachi debating threads, state that he can just use Izanami on the enemy, while other users say that it wouldn't work, and I simply just don't understand the point behind the technique, and I've got a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer:

1. How does this technique work ?

2. How does it aid you in a combat ?

3. What is required for the user to be able to cast that technique ? Eye contact, physical touch, etc ?

4. How can you break out of it/counter it ?

5. Why do some people not consider it a combat move ?

6. Are all Uchiha's able to use this technique ?

Izanami basically takes two points in time that he and the oponent made contact and Izanami traps them in an illusion that loops these two points. The only way to escape is within the jutsu: The caster chooses a destiny. This destiny can be anything from realizing one's own faults or accomplishing a certain task. It's not a combat tupe because Itachi said so.

2 . It was a technique made to punish those who used Izanagi any how and running from their fate.
3. It works using your opponents senses.
4. Itachi says you can come out of it when you accept your own fate or something like that.
5. Because it's not intended for that purpose.

This is eye technique which is not really used by using eye but with feelings of oneother.one tells other about his/her feelings and cast with words and cast izanami by a fit moment considering any 2 points where he mistook or wanna run away from that and wen it is casted one can only come out this wen he accept his mistake or realize to complete by his own way or fate.
