Yeah, it was to be expected that Izanagi would have a counter but with Izanami's effect it seems pretty silly ( There could have been a better effect for it )

i agree a better effect would of been nice... however its like the tech was specifically made to go against kabuto which is what sucks... i wouldnt mind if itachi legitamitely defeated kabutomaru through awesome techs but not a hax sharingan jutsu :|

I was maybe the BIGGEST Itachi-fan during part 1. But I am a realist, and I see how bad his character got ruined in part 2.

It's not even hax, it's pretty much useless on anyone other than Kabuto so it is more BS plot than anything else.
I mean Izanami could have still been used to defeat Kabuto if only it had done something else.

Kishi didn't explain it well before hand like he could have and probably should have seeing as how ppl don't understand
the myth behind it outside of naruto and the hidden meaning with kabuto and sasuke and itachi all being there together.
It is a myth about Izanami and Itachi Kabuto and Sasuke all played the roles of the characters in that MYTH about it.

Izanami should have been hinted at during the the manga before Itachi was Edo'd , but people who know about the
Mythology understand how it all came together ...

Those who don't know about it , think it was an @$$pull or last minute plot hole type thing , because Kishi failed to
elaborate on Itachi's future hidden abilities..

but I like Izanami a lot :ls: and I luv Itachi more :flowers

My thoughts is that most people have no idea how Izanami works and think it's an insta-win tech

Also the tech itself wasn't all that interesting compared to Tsukuyomi, Susanoo, Amaterasu, etc.

That whole folklore thing: i know , but izanagi isnt really "hacked" as izanami because w/o it they were not winning that fight

was made for the story . It was for Kabuto to come back . Orochimaru to have this sudden change of heart
and for them to potentially clash in the end of the manga. Throughout the story, Kabuto has been showing signs of wanting to break off on his own.

Izanagi undoes the past... and Izanami makes you relive it.. it actually makes sense..

If Kishi gave Itachi dialogue or Obito dialogue about Izanami being hinted at then it would've been better...

it was perfect for Kabuto and Orochiamru(almost) because of the need to feel invincible they developed
because of Orochiamru's DNA and Kabuto's loner and *I feel weak* syndrome..

It was just a jutsu under-developed in the story... I think its pretty cool though

I dont know why ppl biatch over izanami so much. Its very conditional jutsu. U have to replica same movement battle which is hard and worls only on brain damaged ppl sooo...
The fact that kabuto had sound 5 powers, taka powers and sage mode out of the blue its OK, not ass pull.
