Look:

Look closely at the panel with Itachi's face. You see his eyes? One is darker than the other and the sharingan cant be seen. This means the eye will be closed soon, or as an effect of the Edo Tensei, his eye will be back to normal.
No, it is not just a shadow, as some of you will say. The light comes from left, so the shadow should be on the right part. His left eye is way darker than the right one, and Kishimoto wouldn't make this kind of mistake.
Edo tensei is still here? Well, izanami was activated seconds ago before the chapter ended. For izanagi about 10 seconds were needed. Or maybe Itachi left the ET for some more minutes, so he can talk to Sasuke.
I made this thread in order to show everyone that the fight is over, izanami was activated,and Itachi won(Im 95% sure about winning).

Yep the jutsu is active imo. i see hand seals, an active sharingan, and an inactive sharingan. all the signs are there. he activated it.

I'm sure he activated it. I don't think Itachi would die from a cut like that. And doesn't the Sharingan allow you to see your enemy's next move? I'm sure Itachi would have dodged it when his sharingan is activated. So i think he let Kabuto hit him on purpose.

agree... i was just about to post this if no one did... all the facts are there... but 2 things comes to my mind while im reading this... itachi is a strategist a very high level... having planned for sasukes power ups for many years... the eye closing could also mean izanagi and not izanami... giving him an opening since kabuto has opened his eyes(on the last panel it says " A Sad Determination" i think that was meant for kabutos defeat) another thing is also... sasuke keeps asking about izanami... i think kishi is hinting at something, the technique might be meant for sasuke... itachi also told sasuke to remain close, a moment in the manga, they look into each others eyes also... maybe the techniques was meant for power ups? free upgrade again?

if thats the proof than madara and itachi both activated it chapters ago

chapter 282 page 3 itachi is missing an eye after getting drilled by multiple rocks

madara when half his body got destroyed he eye was pitch black as well, thats an edo thing not izznami plus itachi said iznami was ready a couple chapters ago too. where's your proof that that 100% izanami
