Please note: If you fanboys came in here for a wank, you're out of luck. I'm here to talk about Izanami the technique, not Itachi.

I must admit, I find the Izanami intriguing. It essentially deals with the concept of a never ending cycle.

For example, on this forum you may have seen topics which say "Old Naruto was better". But then someone will later claim "Naruto needs more powerups". And then again someone will say "Old Naruto was better" etc. I think this image nicely demonstrates it:

We could use the entire Naruto Discussion as example as well:
Monday - Early Viz translations come out. People get the critical scans translated and proceed to brag/create theories/bash/etc.

Tuesday - General feel of excitement and impatience for the new chapter. Sometimes trolls take advantage of this.

Wednesday - Chapter released. Forum bustling with activity.

Thursday - The aftermath of yesterday's drama. Expect damage control if someone got owned or if a technique got countered.

Friday - Expect to see theories and predictions.

Sat/Sun - Weekend, combination of a bit of everything.

Starts over.

But it doesn't stop there -- this can be applied to life. I'm sure you all feel somewhat trapped by a routine. We all complain either openly or deep down, but still succumb to doing the same things over and over.

If you truly want to break away from the cycle you must take acknowledge yourself and reality for what it is. You must be honorable and humble and only then will a new path open up for you.

Izanami teaches a person a valuable lesson that can really guide them towards "freedom".

I disagree with the first cycle. I think that superpower anime are always better with high strategy and low power. POwer level in the Pain arc was ok, but above that was too ridiculous.

Why do I feel like someone else made this thread and you just Copy/Pasted it?
No idea. You tell me.

Huge power levels are only ridiculous if you don't know what the weaknesses are. I remember when Shinsuusenju was first shown, people were certain it was too overpowered. But now you have people claiming the Jounin Might Guy could beat Hashirama.
