From the latest chapter it proves that izanami has a weakness.The weakness is acknowledgeing were you went wrong and trying to correct it.Seeing that like good guys like naruto has nothing to change or correct about himself izanami would be useless.So actually izanami works only on villans and what it does is to change them to a better person.:shrug:
