Ok so this thread is about izanami and explaining what it does so basicly it captures user in a genjutsu which repeats its self from the moment izanami is activated. however there is a price and that is the cost a sharingan eye s light|

ok so we explaned what izanami does but since every jutsu has a weaknes izanami has one as well. Now remember what itachi said it decides destiny

But itachi also said that itachi is the one who has destiny in his hands and kabuto was the one who will actualy decide it

So basicly in order for kabuto to free himself of izanami he has to forfill the destiny that itachi decided which is probably kabuto realeasing edo tensei
so that way he can free himself of izanami that s my idea of what izanami does :)

I told you idiots Itachi was not dead!LOL! He's holding Kabuto's head like a child at the end, so it's just about over! Itachi-sama is so awesome!

I think my life is in Izanami...anyways, the tech repeats an event but its the opponent that decides it. In other words, its a genjutsu that repeats an action an opponent had previously performed that the eye being sacrificed captured. Since it leaves the opponent immobilized, I believe it just allows the caster the opportunity to defeat their paralysed foe. I just have one question. Why is Kishi tearing Itachi apart? Last two weeks he was stabbed multiple times, last week he was bifurcated, this week he lost an arm. What gives?

Since Izanami is a normal genjutsu which repeats itself in the contrary of tsukiyomi, i wonder if someone can't get through it if his chakra is disturbed?
