izanami and not izanagi

So I was thinking that izanami is a jutsu made to stop people from abusing their power to escape reality with izanagi. What if you could use izanami to stop everyone from being sucked out of reality into the infinite tsukoyomi by starting the loop before the infinite tsukoyomi is cast and ending it afterwards? Maybe that is why sasuke still has one normal eye...
