@OP I think sasuke is too selfish to give up his full potential, meaning, he is too greedy to give up the full power of EMS without exhausting every option he can. Unless some how he doesn't lose sight from Izanami, there wouldn't be a reason for him to sacrifice himself for others he wants to kill...
