Izanagi's use with EMS = Blindness ??

1. Ok so we're all aware that a transplanted MS grants eternal light to the user like sasuke and we also know that the use of izanagi causes blindness in one eye like when itachi used it against kabuto.

2. We also know that obito ( tobi) revealed the izanagi for the first time against konan during their battle at the Amakegaru before which he had transplanted shisui's eye ( MS ) inside his right eye .

So how come his right eye got blind. I mean EMS is suppose to grant eternal light so how can it lose its light by the use of a jutsu . Could this be a plot hole or something ? Juxt sharing my thoughts =D

I think it still makes you blind. If not, it would've been used a lot and it would've also been way too powerfull.

Obito's right eye didn't go blind , it was his left eye - a spare sharingan .

OP : I think it doesn't drain the user's eye of it's light , however it probably makes the eye inaccessable for a while.

The eye will still go blind. If it didn't madara would have spammed it.

it is a forbidden jutsu that makes the eye blind even edo tensei get blind when they use it despite their regeneration. e.g when itachi used izanami.

Shishui 1 eye was destroyed by Itachi & 1 by Danzo. Obito doesn't hv Shishui eye And when u Use Izanagi ur eye shud be blind whether EMS or not. EMS saves ur eye frm Overusing effects not from Forbidden jutsus like Izanagi

The eMS ist "just" an eternal MS. Only the usage of the Mangekyōs specific Jutsu(Susanoo, Amaterasu and so on) doesn't make you blind anymore, but Izanagi/Izanami are different.
