[Discussion] Izanagi!!!???

The rampage version makes a lot more sense. Basically what it says is that Izanagi's ability to "erase mistakes" would make people overconfident before entering battle. Which caused them to act recklessly in battle and fight without regard for any consequences.

Yeah I thought the translation was abit vague, not that we can be 100% certain this one is correct either lol. But it does fit into my viewpoint nicely.

I cant disagree but it seems too easy to be allowed, otherwise Sasuke will just spam the hell out of it (I find I sound like a Sasuke hater here lol, Quite the opposite I really want to make a why we should all like Sasuke thread XD but fear the excessive trolling).

While its true that MS goes dark with use, Izanagi was stated to definately remove the light from the eye. It should remain this way, but its definately not been done yet.

(just thought, yeah if it was safe Madara would just use it to end his fight if things get out of hand)

An Eternal Izanagi? That sounds badass. It would make Madara virtually invincible. Not even sealing him would work then (Releasing Edo Tensei might not even work against Izanagi). The only thing that could possibly work in such an event is Izanami.

But...I'm sad to say the feeling is not mutual for me. It would be very interesting to see though.

Izanami is not useless in combat in its defined form of approach.​

If it's 1 Vs 1 = It can be usefull.

Specialy if you do not want to kill your opponent and change your oponents way of thinking and bring your oponent to the right path.

Possibly there is alot room to play around with Izanami = Great variety in it.


It comes down to the battle of "choice".

But it's still a "cause" and "effect" type of situation.​

We have seen the Itachi form of Izanami so far , but we could see some of them from other flashbacks.

Also it appears to me , that Izanami = is not suitable to all of oponents.

It will most likely work on those who had altered or deceived their ordinary fate/destiny in a way where they are not aware of the change anymore.

If that person who is in Izanami = and becomes aware of ones fate/destiny.

Will be released from Izanami.

Izanami is actualy very easy to activate = but very hard to get out , since it's a jutsu to choose the destiny.​

First of all i'm sorry for making an Izanagi thread i say(technically write) this because a lot of people have made a lot of threads with this theme (and now i am one of them xd) and i am tired of this and most of the threads that people make about Izanami and Izanagi i don't bother reading

But the reason i made this thread is because i don't understand this

when they have only two sharingans? (and after the use the two sharingan will go blind... this means that they can use izanagi only two times)

Danzo used it over a dozen times in one battle and didn't go blind. If you think he's the only person to ever steal a sharingan and transplant it into himself, you're not paying attention to the manga.

Tobi talked about many people stealing eyes to unlock the EMS, though doesn't mention anybody in particular.

Kakashi took Obito's eye and transplanted it into himself.

As a similar example, we have Ao who stole and transplanted a Byakugan.

It happens. When you're in battle, as soon as somebody dies you get their eyes and use them as 1-ups for yourself.

All was fine until Izanami was introduced, kishi should of changed the reason he said it was created. Izanami was fine until last chapter *sigh* maybe kishi will fix this.

Izanagi was allowed before.

Izanagi = is Allowed = if The result = works in a good favor.

Izanagi = is not Allowed = If the Result is used recklessly = Is forbidden.

It's = Ok to use Izanagi = For a good cause

It's not = Ok to use izanagi = If it's done recklessly = Forbidden

And for that cause = Izanami was developed = to punish these people who had used Izanagi in a bad way.
