izanagi is a move that comes from the so6p most strongest technique the all things creation technique it's a lesser version of the so6p's own only b/c the sage was able to use this continuously and seemingly with no self harm or dangerous effects while the other technique can only be used once (in normal situations) and can take one's own eye sight afterwards. me personally i think it's b/c the sage blood was pure uchiha and pure senji in one perfect mix with no out side influence as in other dna into his body that made his blood super rare to the world, so since he had kids that was born of mixed dna from him and his wife thats if he had a wife he could've just created them also? that would mean no one from that point on had the rare mutated dna to hold or wield the same power the sage had at his prime so this resulted in lesser forms of this OP power and techniques as in the "izanagi". i also believe that the sage's rinnagan probably was different from what we seen. that my thoughts on it
