Izanagi vs Kamui

I just had a question involving obito back when he was going by the name tobi. When he was using his powers to become intangible to incoming attacks was he using izanagi or just kamui on different parts of his body?

Logicaly,he would have been ripped to shreds fighting anyone. Especialy konan cause of the rain. But gravity doesent seem to work in kamuiland
