Introduction
Hey guys haven't been making enough theories on here in a long time but here we go! this theory is about what if the genjutsu fails?

When activated, the caster removes the boundaries between reality and illusion within their personal space. To a degree this allows the user to control their state of existence, but it is normally only active for the briefest of moments.-Izanagi

It is a genjutsu which affects the target through physical sensations shared between them and the user-Izanami

Izanagi is the derived justu from the creation of all things and Izanami is in fact not derived or related from or to the sages own creation of all things

The 2 genjutsus counter each other like stated by itachi himself right? but what if the plans of the persons loop fail?
The effect of izanami?!

Each time a loop is repeated, any physical damage incurred is reset as it were before the start of the loop, although the remains of severed appendages do not disappear.

To begin the technique, after selecting any arbitrary moment, the caster uses their Sharingan to remember the physical sensations both of their body and that of their opponent's during that instant like a photograph (represented as: A). The user must then intentionally replicate the same sensation and in the same way, memorise that instant with their Sharingan (represented as: A'). Izanami overlaps and connects these two identical bodily sensations (A and A'), as well as the flow of time between them, creating an infinite loop of events that entraps the opponent's consciousness.

from the spoiler the persons own time is repeated and looped so how can this fail?

The User Can lose there own sight themselves??!

fail to be in a perfect way (i mean it needs physical contact to work but here comes the next fail) but what if the victim is a clone???

the user that cast it would not just lose there eye they lose there life as a user with Izanagi could easily defy his or her own "death" this is another re-counter for users who use izanagi


(I know izanami was stated to have it's own back door's to easily escape this technique but those are to change your own path but this theory helps on if its a fail)

you can't use a clone to use a kinjustu that seals that light since the clone is not the real body.

Izanami is not easy to escape or instead of izanami the user would just give their opponent a stern talking to.
And lastly if the person gets stuck in the loop that is their own fault and by no means a fail on the casters part or prove there is something wrong with izanami.

In short the only thing failing is this thread

This is not a "Theory"

A theory is something that requires pre existing facts and evidence that support the subject/claim in question.

You provide none and everything you said was literally wrong

1.They don't counter each other.Izanami is there to oppose izanagi.

2.At one point you go on to say what if it was a clone

-What about it ? What does it have to do with this "theory" ?
That is just a hypothetical question regarding a scenario where one tricked the other into thinking they were caught in it which is not the same as escaping it.

3.And then go on to call it a fail that is not a fail on izanami that is a fail on the person trying to cast izanami.
Anyway if the steps taken to activate it are met then you can't stop it.It is not a visual thing.

4.You also said easily escape which if it were true then kabuto would be out of it already.

This was not a theory in any sense of the word.
