Izanagi + Genjutsu = Overkill and Overpower

Izanagi is a Jutsu that is said to be compared to Rikudou's Creation of All Things, in a sense of that Izanagi can make a illusion a reality, and basically ties the illusion world into the real world.

So to say it's a "trial" version of Creation of All Things, with drastic drawbacks.


But just imagine this with a great Genjutsu user like Itachi. He can imagine or put his opponent in a Genjutsu where, let's say... A meteor is crushing him, and within the Genjutsu Itachi uses Izanagi.

Will the illusion world tie together with the reality and create an actual meteor?

Also The eye of moon, if Madara uses Izanagi can he change the entire world permanently?

That Imo is without doubt the most OP Jutsu..

Edited: -Sigh. For the simple-minded, Izanagi is cast upon the user and damage sustain, severely leading to your death, is rewritten as a "imagination". Physical attacks are not cast as an illusion. For example, a meteor falling and crushing the target.

Izanagi is cast on the user so it can't be forced on other people.


Basically the only event it can notably do is erase damage that has happened to you: allowing one to believe the damage was the illusion and thus rewrite death or injury itself for a particular time frame. So it's not as op as a combo as believed.
