Izanagi and Izanami, A Clan saver?

Danzo made it obvious that Izanagi can be perform even with a 3 tomoe Sharingan. Itachi used his MS to activate Izanami, but it's prerequisite.

Thus, my inquisitiveness sinks in.... I want everyone's option on this matter:

During Uchiha massacre, why did any of the Uchiha used the Izanagi or Izanami to change their fate? It's forbidden, but the elders and top ranking Uchihas for sure knew about this technique.

This is the reason why Itachi needed the help of "Madara". He could have cast a town-size range Tsukuyomi, and "Madara" diced everyone up. Makes sense....

Nice question... But if all uchihas with sharingan can use izanami then that should make them invincible, right? Then how the hell did a 13 year old kid beat them?? I still want the full details of what happened that night, i think kishi is hiding something from us.

Nothing could have prepared them.. if Itachi use the Tsukuyomi. Not even a kage level shinobi could snap out of it.

I don't know the exact Uchiha population during the massacre. But you can't just kill an elite clan overnight. Also any desperate Uchiha would resort to use Izanagi, if that is given the will.

maybe because not every uchiha had Senju dna to use izanagi.....and maybe because not every uchiha awakened MS to use izanami, but seriously if all the uchiha clan members that Itachi "supposedly" killed had MS i think it'd be an impossible mission, even for Madara himself but that's just my opinion

we don't know about izanami yet but I believe tobi said the one who use izanagi must possess Hashirama senju DNA... most people say you don't need it thou
how many of them had Hashis DNA? NONE?

Uchiha is a direct descendant of Rikudo, they don't need Senju DNA or Blood to use the Izanagi.

It's a Kinjutsu.. but Itachi's father for sure knew about it. The only possible reason why none of them used Izanagi, because all of them were denied of FREE WILL.

Itachi likely didn't leave very many people with much time, and most of the deaths were probably pretty quiet and quick, so that the other Uchihas wouldn't even know about it. I mean he was already the strongest in the clan, and had 3 of the most haxxed MS abilities. We all saw how easily he took down those 3 Uchiha police when they accused him of killing Shisui.

After re-reading Tobi's statement more carefully, I noticed he said 'by someone possessing both the "powers" of the Uchiha and Senju'
Emphasis on "power."
So if an Uchiha doesn't need Senju DNA or Blood to use Izanagi, then that's most likely implying that Uchihas possess the "power" of Senju, of which I HIGHLY doubt, because although they're descendants of the Sage, they were born with different parts of the sage, so according to my opinion they do need Senju's dna. Because to me, that's like saying a Senju doesn't need a Sharingan to use Izanagi.....

Those could have all been from Itachi. All the people we saw in the streets were shopkeepers and non-ninjas. I remember because I specifically thought to myself, "well that isn't very impressive killing restaurant owners".

Itachi had his MS on because he was using sassano. doesnt mean he needs it to use izanami.
